Right, I've got Canopus ProCoder 3 for file conversion and all that, and now I'd like to have a program for:

- unlocking and ripping DVDs

- burning ISOs, DVDs, etc

I know some people use DVD shrink and I have no idea how good it is. Also, I used to use Nero 7, but I dunno, is there something better out there? Please and thanks.

DVDdecryptor and IMGBURN. Can't link because I'm on my phone but google away.

Dvdshrink is pretty good, but it can't decrypt everything, although you will need it if you want to fit everything from a retail DVD o to a standard DVD-R.

DVDFab has a 99% success rate with decryption. It is what I use for ripping and burning. DVD Shrink is dead, stay away from it.

I <s>downloaded</s> obtained a copy of DVDFab ages ago but haven't used it yet.

Does it produce different video format files e.g. avi or mpeg file format?
