1. Who is willing to bet that this is a way to promote the shitty G.I. Joe movie?

2. Who is willing to bet that this will be BETTER than the shitty G.I. Joe movie?

3. Who is willing to bet the Main Event will be Sgt. Slaughter vs. CM Punk in a Boot Camp match? (seeing as how Punk has a Cobra tattoo...)

There are no commercials in the movie. That's what won me over.

Has anyone in this thread, I don't know, SEEN the GI Joe movie?

Vastardikai
08-06-2009, 10:29 PM
It's not out, yet.

That being said, I have read a graphic novel that's based on the movie (allegedly). If the movie is like this, it's gonna be garbage.

No, but we know how to read a question.

G.I. Joe, presented LIVE and commercial-free by your local movie theater.:shifty:

Don't know if the movie is 3 hours long, or if anyone will get refunds due to ticket buyers' remorse, but whatever.

Number 2 is a given. Saw the movie today. I felt like I was watching a power rangers movie staring the wayans brothers and darth maul.

If you can honestly look at the trailer for G.I. Joe and think "That looks like a good movie", then you don't know what a movie is, and somewhere, without knowing why...Michael Bay just smiled.

The GI Joe movie looks absolutely terrible. As shitty as Raw will be it won't be nearly as bad as the movie.

Thinking about RAW and the new GI Joe movie at the same time makes me morbidly depressed. :(

I thought the trailer for G.I Joe looks pretty good. I'm easily amused with films. I don't care what everyone else says. :p

On topic, does anyone here actually give a shit about Sgt. Slaughter anymore? It's always fun when they get legends to appear etc, but whenever it's SS I'm just like 'Oh great...'

Theo Dious

Personally I wonder if he'll join the "getting pwned by Chris Jericho" club.

Sgt. Slaughter always randomly pops up to break up fights. No big deal to have him on Raw. At least he has some GM-like experience.

I like that it's another former star. I also think it's a great idea to keep the ex-wrestler hosts spaced out, so guys like Jericho and Orton can only fuck with "outsiders" for so long before someone who really knows the business comes in and sets them straight.

Wow. I've never seen somebody miss a point that badly.

Face it, Justin Credible doesn't have any power in the real kliq and you don't have any power in this internet kliq.

Hopefully they draw on Sgt. Slaughter's character, and we get a Boot Camp Match in the main event.
