I have no reason why I voted for Sugar other than his name

Again, not basing this off stats, Robinson was a much better boxer. Robinson is probably the greatest boxer ever including Ali. He reeled off impressive wins over I believe Jake LaMotta, Rocky Graziano and Henry Armstrong, although I'm not 100% on that last one. He was an incredible middleweight and welterweight, and is the best pound for pound boxer of all time.

As I stated previously, besides Jersey Joe Walcott, Rocky didn't really beat anybody. I remember reading that Rocky was going to have a comeback match against Ingemar Johansson, but decided against it. I'm sure Rocky had visions of him knocking out Joe Louis in Louis's last fight ever: an overthewhill fighter embarassing himself. Johansson would have murdered him.

Rocky retired undefeated, but as Gertie said, Sugar Ray was definitely the greatest ever middleweight and many would argue the best fighter ever pound for pound, so there's no getting round it. Sugar Ray:y:
