shit. it is really bad. i mean i know you don't watch martial arts movies for the plot but this one was just terrible, absolutely horribly written or something got lost really badly in translation, and thus the ending of the film is the most wtf thing you will ever see in your life.

also it's all fucking swordfights for the most part. i hate swordfights.

Yeah, I was worried that without Prachya Pinkaew involved that it would suffer. Too bad.

At least we still have Raging Phoenix to look forward to.

I honestly don't know who is better. Tony Jaa or Jeeja Yanin. Jeeja mixes things up more and doesn't rely on elbows and knees as much. Gonna wait til I see Phoenix before I make a decision tho.

I still prefer Donnie Yen. Sammo has done a few flicks lately where he's done some good martial arts. It had a lot more weapon fights which are okay but I wish the main focus was hand to hand.

I was lucky to see a copy several months ago of OB2. I understood the story but some of it has like some elements of spiritual beliefs of the Thai people. I don't feel like explaining it now but there's gonna be an Ong Bak 3.
