Definitely Vader. Probably the best badass monster heel in wrestling history. Still think he could have been used better during his tenure in WWF though.

This is a big match-up!

Vader easily gets my vote. He was amazing before he went to the WWF.

Vader for sure. In fact I'd probably put Vader over 90% of the people you could list at this point.

I know that Vader is the better wrestler, but I'm voting for Earthquake because I grew up watching Earthquake in the golden era of WWF. Earthquake killing Jake's snake Damien was a tramatic moment in my childhood, lol, forever burned into my memory.

Never knew anything other than WWF existed until '95, so I didn't see Vader until he showed up in WWF, I remember him attacking Gorilla Monsoon.

So, Earthquake is more memorable in my mind, although, I remember Vader being on an episode of Baywatch too.

Vader easily.

I saw Vader quite a bit in WCW and WWF, and I never got the point of him. First of all, he had a stupid-ass name, second of all, with or without the mask, he always looked like the guy at the Golden Corral (or whatever massive dinner buffet you have in your area) who keeps going back when everyone else in his party finished eating half an hour ago. I get that he was an amazingly athletic big man and all, but so was Earthquake, and I actually bought him as threatening. I know Vader has a lot of love and I didn't expect him to lose this, but tehre's no way he gets my vote over Mr. Tenta.

Earthquake was one of the great big men, but Vader was greater.

And the winner of this, btw, should take on Fred "Tugboat/Typhoon/Shockmaster" Ottman.

Yeah, everything I'm feeling on this has already been stated. Vader for me. The ultimate huge badass bully in wrestling history.

Not to mention Mick said in one of his books that guys were so afraid to face Vader that some of them would leave if they saw themselves on the card with him. I guess somebody could see this as a negative. lol. I don't.

Earthquake was good at what he did, I remember hating him with a passion because when I started watching wrestling, Hogan was feuding with him. My WCW watching friend was always talking about Vader. It wasn't until years later that I actually got to see him wrestle but he always had the legit badass thing going on. I wanted to vote Earthquake but had to go with Vader.

Its Vader Time......far better as a big man....and Vader could pull off the moonsault....plus he had Handsome Harley Race for a manager....

Its clear that Big Van Vader is the better wrestler and I agree with that, but in Earthquake's defense, Big Van Vader NEVER EVER got a pop like this..... Skip to 3:35 watch what unfolds, and then hear the pop as the ref counts 3.

To be fair that SummerSlam crowd at Wembley Stadium was one of the hottest I've ever seen. Even Virgil got a massive pop at that show.

Couldn't agree with you more. That crowd was super hot the whole night and that show had some of the most electrifying entrances in the history of wrestling such as Road Warriors coming out on the motorcycles, British Bulldog's deafening pop, Ultimate Warrior's awesome entrance, and my personal favorite.... Undertaker coming out standing on the back of a slow moving hearse.

Summerslam 91 and 92 are my two favorites of all time.

Are you familiar with the concept of a rematch?
