Anybody know what some of the WCW crusierweights have been up to? I haven't watched wrestling that much in a while, just wondering if any of them are on the WWE or TNA or something like that.

Juventude Guererra
Ultimo Dragon
Super Calo (I think was his name, wore a silver mask)
Billy Kidman
Psychosis
La Parka
Essa Rios

Also what ever happened to Raven and Kanyon, they aren't still around are they?

Juventud Guerrera has had a number of problems since WCW. He briefly worked for TNA, as well as WWE a few years back. He is back in Mexico and has of course, has problems there, but still works there and on California indy shows. I believe he has done a handful of conventions too.

Ultimo Dragon worked in WWE a couple years back. He has since done a few shows up in Canada and I believe a couple here in the States. To my knowledge, he is still running his school and is also wrestling in Japan.

Super Calo is still in Mexico. I remember a while back he lost his mask, and to my remembering, his hair too after that. Very underrated guy, IMO, who was really good.

Billy Kidman is living in FL and last I heard working as a trainer with FCW, WWE's developmental territory in Tampa. He divorced Torrie Wilson a while back, IIRC as well. He does now do a number of convention appearances and has wrestled overseas too from what I remember.

Psicosis had a few brief runs with TNA after his time in WCW, and wrestled extensively in Mexico before coming to WWE a couple years ago. He worked there shortly with Juvi and Super Crazy from ECW, before they released him. He still works in Mexico and IIRC, worked with both CMLL and AAA. He too had a couple of legal troubles since his WCW days.

La Parka now goes by L.A. Park for the most part, and has been working up a storm with promotions in Mexico and indies here in the US. He has stayed more than busy since he left WCW. I believe he also had a few shots with TNA, IIRC, and worked with the short lived MLW out of Florida.

Essa Rios went back to working as Aguila, and I believe did a short run with TNA a number of years ago. He was wrestling in Mexico and from what I recall I have seen his name pop up every now and again on shows there and a handful here in the US. Not sure 100% if he's still working or not.

Kanyon I believe retired briefly after his doomed WWE run. He came out of the closet, and has since done a number of appearances on Howard Stern's show. He did do some indy work and a few dates with TNA, and sometimes see him popping up on indy shows here and there.

Raven did a long run with TNA, followed by a few brief stays with them. He worked a lot of indy dates, and did a great deal of signings. I believe he is back in TNA again now, after on and off with them for YEARS.

This is all to the best of my knowledge. Hope it helps.

Thank you it was very helpful! So Kanyon came out of the closet? Not too surprising I guess lol.

Oh man El Dandy, how could I forget him? :p

MACKEM!!! :foc:  JUST KIDDING!!! Missed this forum my friend.

El Dandy is the greatest motherfu**er ever. He was wrestling in Mexico a while back, but I am unaware if he's still working or not; though I believe more than likely he is.

TAFKA Prince Iaukea lives in Florida and has worked a ton of indies there since WCW closed. He works with a group called PWF that runs mainly in central / north FL. He also has done a number of interviews I've read and seen online about his Christian beliefs.

Evan Karagias became AWA Champion (now that that means absolutely nothing) and then pretty much retired a few years ago. Since then I know he's done some acting and a few appearances here and there - but I believe he is primarily done with wrestling and has an outside job.

Lash LaRoux. I rememeber Bobby Heenan always saying this guy was 'the future of the industry' and had a huge career ahead of him.

Villano IV and V were both really talented guys. V unmasked, like many other luchadors of their time, and is now working under his real name. IV I believe is still masked, and to my knowledge is still working in Mexico too. Great talents.

Lash was a constantly improving talent. He had a cool gimmick that would have made him a solid mid-carder, sorta along the lines of Santino - only a little better in the ring. After WCW I remember him popping up in TNA briefly (like everyone else at the time) - wrestling around the indies, and pretty much disappearing. Hell of a cartoonist / illustrator too, did some great work for WCW Magazine and online stuff. Nice guy too. Believe I saw him doing some signing appearances recently, which is cool. Still doing art, possibly as a full-time job.

Blitzkrieg was just amazing in the ring. To see a white guy performing and keeping up with or outpacing the Luchadors is phenominal. He quit wrestling years ago (which was a shame), but went on to do more work in the computer field, where he was supposedly making good money from even before when he entered WCW.

Lizmark Jr. is still in Mexico, working (like most of his contemporaries) without the mask now. He still looks pretty bad ass, and was always a good performer.

Mike Sanders did some time up in HWA developmental after his time in WWE. He also worked with TNA briefly. I remember him doing some indies in GA with a lot of the other WCW guys at the time, but that was about it. He still does a show here or there from what I read in the results, but nothing busy. Last I heard he was doing stand-up comedy and some other stuff as a regular gig.

Hope this was helpful.

Yeah, I believe for a while Evans was working as Blitzkrieg II before it was dropped altogether.
