I approve this thread. I don't watch a lot of TNA but the MCMG are easily my favorite tag team. Possibly in all of wrestling in fact. They have great matches & have a great look. Now that Londrick is caputs I think the MG are the most fun tag team to watch.

The key burning question has always been IMO, why the heck haven’t they won the tag belts yet then?

Seriously, they are universally loved, I know there’s an element of that they don’t need the title’s to get over (much like LOD and Hardyz back in the day) but still, belts for at least a little recognition of their work wouldn’t go a miss surely.

i remember that tna used to do the world x cup
and just as a taster MCMG wrestled Doi and Yoshino from dragon gate japan

so it is a possibility

This was an excellent match.

But yeah, I find it weird how they have yet to have the TNA tag titles. Pretty much since forming they have been the most over and popular tag team in TNA. They had a couple brushes with the big time, but never actually made it. Now for Turning Point, Beer Money has been added last minute to the tag team title match. Probably because TNA thought "Wait! We can't put the belts on the MCMG!"

they still do it every 2 years so this summer we will get the x cup unless hogan screws it up.

The Motor City Machine Guns are awesome. They can wrestle, they have good chemistry, they have a good look, they are over, and they are hilarious and can cut a promo. At least them not having won the TNA World Tag Team Titles yet saves that pay-off for a big moment.

I really hope TNA signs Paul London & Brian Kendrick to contracts, and puts Londrick in a feud against The MCMG. Imagine that Ladder Match for the Tag Team Titles. :drool:
