View Full Version : Really? an nWo in TNA?

We've all read about the rumors concerning Hall and Waltman showing up on the live 1/4 Impact to have some kind of reunion. Does anyone besides me think that they could do something better with their money than try this? I mean there's a good chance Hall won't even show up. Those guys are greats in the business but they just aren't as young as they use to be....this can not be a good idea.

I think WWE owns the nWo name....they'd have to be wolfpac or something.

Remember when I kept saying that Hogan was going to kill TNA from the inside out?

Did anyone listen?

They own the name but I'm sure they'll get Rockhouse.

um, this nWo has Dixie Carter. way different

You know, now that I think about it, Dixie looks like a slightly older version of the nWo Liz.

I would like to formally object to Steveviscious89 including Sean Waltman as "one of the greats."

lol the WCW mark in me loves this and wants to see it, but the realist in me knows how fucking terrible this will be for TNA.

over/under March 26th, 2011 (the 10th Anniversary of the end of WCW) TNA will fold thanks to Hogan

You know what? I just had a terrifying thought...

What if Linda Hogan comes in and creates a stable to combat Hogan? That would be a whole new level of terrible.

what if Nick Hogan comes in and creates a stable of vegetables to combat Hogan?

I'd like to add mine as well.

TNA are stupid if they think anyone would care, plus bringing in a bunch of people from the NWO will ruin TNA, they'll get all the rampant unchecked egotistic self serving goons, only this time they won't draw.

TNA's problem is they just make other promotions look important. Even Wolfe is treated as a big deal because he was in ROH. How about they do something of their own? Make their own 'classic' stable. Not recycling old ones from a bankrupt promotion. First the millionaires club (MEM) now the NWO.

I get the feeling that the storyline will be more along the lines of Nash taking liberties and he brings them in, thinking Hogan is going to be on board straight away. Hogan will put him in his place and say that if he is doing this, he's doing it his way, and TNA has legit stars already, etc. etc.

Jarrett vs Hogan, whose NWO was better?

yea thats what i am thinking, tna will not sign hall long term after he no showed them, as for xpac he may be good for the x-div.

The x-division is not about weight limits.....ITS ABOUT NO LIMITS!

Sweet! An nWo reunion! That's sure to boost the ratings.

Let's be serious here, does anyone actually still give a shit about Scott Hall? Wrestling fans and mainstream fans?

Ditto for X-Pac.

And while we're at it, why don't we have DX break up soon and in 2 years have them reunite AGAIN

terrible idiea and what makes me sad for tna is nash and hogan with power.nash was instrumental in the demise of wcw. Hogan still thinks he is the best. This is bad real bad.joe jackson, nah michael jackson, real sad, you should leave your boyfrien now, imma ask him.

I bet they couldnt use that name though.

Xero

Outsiders doesn't really make sense. They're not coming straight from another company, they're coming straight from Sid's house and Mexico.

Swear to God, can't make this shit up.

This would be a tremendous waste of what is probably their only real shot to compete

Part of me was hoping that Kevin Nash would get the "fired" briefcase at Final Resolution, and then bitch about how it can't be so, because he is Hogan's buddy, only to find out that the Hulkster is all about the new movement, brotha!

Kevin Nash and Scott Hall would purely be a nostalgic move. If they go that route, I hope they have Eric Young take exception that Nash would use the title shot with anyone but him. World Elite then puts a beat-down on Hall and Nash, and The British Invasion take back the TNA World Tag Team Titles.
