That doesn't really help.

It's kind of a silly question to begin with.

Honestly, I'd say this...if you played the first BioShock and liked it, you should definitely pick up BioShock 2. It's supposed to be very much improved from the first game.

OKay Aas opposed to waiting a few weeks for heavy rain

I dunno in that case. It's really up to you and which you think you'd enjoy more.

Most of the reviews are calling it the exact same, but with extra weapons and a less interesting story

I would rent it first to see if you like it that away if you don't you can just take it back and not have spent $60 on a game your not going to like.

From what I heard, the plot for the 2nd game makes very little sense since the 1st Bioshock was made without really have a sequel or series in mind.

Kotaku and a few others have said that the 1st part of the game will feel a bit dull since its doing mostly the same stuff from the 1st game and looses the WOW factor but gets better later in the game.

Yeah, heard the ending is way better than the first though.

Bioshock 2 (Region-Free)

Price: $ 39.95
Availability:
Condition: New
Platform: XBox 360

Bioshock 2 for the XBox 360 comes brand new and factory sealed. This is the NTSC-J version of Bioshock 2. The NTSC-J version is nearly identical to the American version: it has English text and voices, English writing on the cover and manual, and all of the same achievements (in English). The ONLY DIFFERENCE is a small amount of Asian text on the cover-art and manual.

I'd be all over that if I could Goozex it when I was done.

Such a huge disappointment of a game. I beat it last night, it was extremely short, and the gun play was just as bad as the first. On the plus side, the atmosphere was good, but nowhere near the first.

Yeah definitley rented it and beat it in 8 hours. Wtf, I was expecting more. Now I have nothing to look forward to until Heavy Rain.
I think the kick ass story in the first game made up for its shortcomings. That didn't happen this time around.

I played through half, then went and finished ME1 again for a new ME2 character.

I think I'm obsessed.

Like VM said, I'm sorely disappointed that this was such a short game to play through...it was nice for the several hours that it lasted though.
