2-1 Australia. But should be cracking. Pretty much the only time I really get excited for cricket.

Who me? I know India beat the crap out of Aus but I know Aus at home is something else entirely too. What was I supposed to have followed, that I did not?

Our opening batsmen aren't that great atm, good thing is we have quite a few down the order who can bat well.

Hence my point about Pietersen earlier. But your strong point I think will be the bowlers. Let's see..

I have been impressed with Cook ever since he handled our spinners in India and got that ton on debut.

He aswell has been in poor form, but that 60 v aussie a may have helped him.

Looks like I went bed at the right time. Thought we might make it to the second day until Colly wobbled.

Great first day for the Aussies. Since I live walking distance to the Gabba, I may stumble down later this weekend, if it becomes a close game. At this stage however, I would say Australia have this first test in the bag. Siddle bowled to near perfection, and Doherty had a good outing as well.

Finally watsons out, what a ball/catch.
