Rate the event thread - WM 33
 

I just wanted to pick the brains of the collective posters here at TPWW, and see what the overall general consensus grade is. Now, I don't want to unduly influence anyone, but I give it about an 8.5, as did Brian "Wrestling With Wregret 'Zane My Real Last Name is Scheidel'" and his friend J. Biggs in their YouTube review.

I want YOUR scores and if you feel like it, reasoning for the score...it can be regarding the overall show or 1 or 2 matches that piqued your interest, whatever. I think these kinds of threads have been done in the past after a WM and its cool to look back and see if the consensus now holds up in the annals of history 5, 10, 25 etc. years down the line.

Fuck legends with JBL

I heard Bring it to the Table was utter rubbish, too.

Legends with JBL was amazing

I went 6. Some of the outcomes were lolWWE and continuing to set up Reigns as the face of the company just makes this era feel more and more inferior to pretty much any modern day era. That being said, there were some decent matches, Taker retiring made it feel like a major show and Goldberg vs Lesnar was just... just... so good.

Positives: Hardy's return, AJ/Shane, Brock/Goldberg being decent
Negatives: Reigns/Taker, Cena proposal crap, Strowman not winning ATG Battle Royal

First half of the show was great while the second half dragged on and was pretty meh/bad outside of Goldberg-Lesnar. Still a lot better than last year's Mania overall.

5 is "Average" here. 6 would be considered "Above Average". Just an FYI, not a criticism. :)
