It really does look like he is out of bounds though.

Good shot though.

Juan 01-03-2010 01:58 AM

The refs reviewed the play to see if the shot was off on time and to see if he stepped out of bounds.

Kobe's heel was over the out of bounds line, but it was not touching the hardwood.

Ok, that's fine. To be fair I really couldnt see his left foot and he might have had it at just the right angle. If they can't see it, they can't see it.

IT is still ridiculous to say he didn't push Casspi or that Casspi would "flop" in that situation though.

After watching again, his left foot might be right on the line. Calling it out would have been a ticky tack call.

Jesus Shuttlesworth 01-03-2010 02:15 AM

I thought he shoved him but I didn't think he was out of bounds. I haven't seen the replay though. Honestly it doesn't really matter if it was a shove or not because they aren't gonna make that call anyway. It was just a good shot, not much you can do about that. I mean the Kings forced Kobe to take a 3 pointer as he falling out of bounds, it's not like they let him get to the rack or something.

Juan 01-03-2010 02:17 AM

It was Rodriguez, and the Kings TV crew even admitted it was a flop. They said Rodriguez couldn't have picked a worse time to flop.

True. A shove is a shove though.

Look, I give Kobe credit, and I have before on these buzzer beaters (i.e. the one vs Milwaukee) but the shove cheapens it. He bailed Paussy out on that pass nicely though.

Skippord 01-03-2010 02:39 AM

why do the Kings have so many white guys?

Buzzkill 01-03-2010 02:52 AM

Not sure but its been that way for a while...

Think about it, back in '02 they were rockin

Jason Williams
Hedo Turkoglu
Vlade Divac,
Peja Stojacavich
Mike Bibby (mostly white)
Doug Chrisite (mostly white)
Scott Pollard

Crazy

Skippord 01-03-2010 04:54 AM

watching them beat the Nuggets the other day was like a 5 person hate crime

SammyG 01-03-2010 03:19 PM

lol @ that girl in the red

Juan 01-03-2010 10:10 PM

Pau goes down in the first quarter with a left strained hamstring :(

Skippord 01-03-2010 10:20 PM

Malik Allen and Joey Graham were playing for the Nuggets today

I naturally assume something has gone horribly horribly wrong

McLegend 01-03-2010 10:22 PM

OMG they are gonna win Skippord

McLegend 01-03-2010 10:39 PM

Got lucky there.

Lol

I fucking LOVEd the early 2000s kings. Fucking A man, they were sweet.

Juan 01-03-2010 11:20 PM

Lakers up by 37 points right now against the Mavs

SammyG 01-04-2010 03:54 AM

Great win but... Pau gets hurt again :(

Brujesino 01-05-2010 05:47 PM

rafeer alston and the nets agree to a buyout

front runner for alston is the heat

also the warriors waived mikki moore

Schlomey 01-05-2010 05:55 PM

favorite team this year: Portland Trailblazers. Proof that rebuilding and being patient works. I LOVE the fact that their major stars have been in and out of action but they have enough depth to still be a massive threat in the division.

Easily the most fun to watch underdog team to watch.

Still think Bulls vs Celtics last year was the best series of the decade.

um warriors vs mavericks??!?!?!?!?!

celtics were missing key player that the only reason they made it to 7 games

plus the bulls should not have even been in the playoffs they should thank the weak eastern confrence

SammyG 01-05-2010 06:00 PM

Dunno, those two are pretty close.

Gasol out about 5-6 games :( Ron Ron back today though

Emperor Smeat 01-05-2010 06:07 PM

Celtics v Lakers in 2008 NBA Finals probably had the best setup of any series in the 1st decade mostly because of massive hype, team histories, biggest NBA rivarly, and a retro feeling from when those 2 teams played each other in the 1980s.

Mavs vs Warriors sort of lacked the "David-Goliath" feeling because most analysts predicted the upset from how "weak" the Mavs felt as the top team in the West.

SammyG 01-05-2010 06:09 PM

I dunno man, that Celts-Bulls series was absolutely insane.

Emperor Smeat 01-05-2010 06:15 PM

Biggest disappoint is easily the Cavs-Spurs in how NBA hyped the series and besides the 1st game, Spurs dominated with the sweep.

RP 01-05-2010 06:45 PM

ok Indiana. Please dont do one of your ' Come out and play really hard and upset a top contending team for the hell of it ' moves tonight. Just take the loss and go home. Think John Wall.

Johnnnnnnn Walllllllllllllllll

McLegend 01-05-2010 08:34 PM

Man this Wizards team is really bad. They can easily win the lottery.

Reallly want Gilbert Arenas to go away so they can go on a win streak.

McLegend 01-05-2010 09:23 PM

And the Sixers lose to that terrible Wizards team.

I love it.

RP 01-05-2010 09:38 PM

FUCK YOU INDIANA!

SammyG 01-05-2010 10:10 PM

LOL RP! But seriously, Indiana can make the playoffs in the East.

Champion of Europa 01-05-2010 11:35 PM

PAAAAAAACEEEEEEEEE SHOWWWWWWWWWWWWWWWWW

Was seriously so psyched about tonight's win. Hibbert played like a beast. One of my favorite players in the NBA. Just an exciting big man.

Joy of Roy.

Brujesino 01-05-2010 11:44 PM

how stupid are you to foul somone 30 feet away on a last second shot!!!

monta you lost us the damn game!!! he shot a airball but you still ran at him:mad:

DaveWadding 01-06-2010 12:39 AM

Damn. fuckin Kings are feisty.

Juan 01-06-2010 12:43 AM

Have I ever mentioned how much I hate Luis Scola? :o

I just saw the highlight of the play. Brutal

SammyG 01-06-2010 03:34 AM

Was watching the Denver game on a seperate stream. fucking idiot warriors.

LO was huge today. 1 assist away from a triple double. Massive game, 17 points, 19 boards, 9 dimes

Hanso Amore 01-06-2010 05:43 PM

Bye Bye Arenas!

I feel bad for Washington. Lock him down for 7 years that kill any cap space you have, and he never fucking plays.

McLegend 01-06-2010 05:47 PM

Now they can void his contract. So that's good.

Buzzkill 01-06-2010 10:45 PM

Only if he is charged with a felony I believe

McLegend 01-06-2010 10:50 PM

Yeah it's going to be really hard, but they might try even if he isn't charged.
