To reiterate, Cena wins a match by falling over when someone else gets hit.

He's not invincible to moves in the same category as the Fingerpoke of Doom! That's his Kryptonite!!!!

Blakeamus 07-30-2012 11:12 PM

Is there a chance that the WWE title WILL be defended at a PPV main event with Cena involved now?

Time to check the official book of WWE Logic.

According to Chapter 18, Article 9, Section 8: If one wrestler gets hit but is held by another wrestler, hope the audience forgets about that situation and call both of them the winner. The audience is bound to forget this in about 2 weeks anyways.

Damndirty 07-30-2012 11:13 PM

I would say Cena's definitely gonna win the title, but I thought he was going to last week too.

I already forgot.....

I predict that by July 30, 2013 RAW will not be a 3 hour show.

It was draining just watching the show. It's too much.

Cool King 07-30-2012 11:30 PM

Well, as this was the the first proper 3 Hour Raw, as last week was a special celebration episode, it showed us all what to expect now from Raw.

In my opinion, I'm not a fan and I'm unsure about the future.

The only good parts of Raw was Daniel Bryan and CM Punk. The bad parts were getting only two matches in one hour, both of those matches being ones we've seen happen a lot this year, constant recaps and recaps of recaps and product placement going on a lot. Personally, I don't care about Shazam, I don't care about Twitter and I don't care about Tout. If I wanted to check people's "Touts", I would head to the website or WWE.COM.

They said a while back that the fans would be able to interact with Raw and choose matches and have their say and so on, but I don't think one match, where the choices are pretty much the exact same match, counts. A Street Fight, A Falls Count Anywhere Match and a No DQ Match aren't really varied choices.

So for me, I think there is a chance I might not watch Raw live anymore, but instead, watch it on YouTube or something, like what I do with SmackDown and that way, I get no breaks and I can skip past the recaps and recapped recaps and all that.

2 hour Raws are pretty draining when they're shit.

This one wasn't as shitty as some more recent 2 hour Raws.

Innovator 07-30-2012 11:32 PM

I'll be shocked if AW doesn't get future endeavored after the Kobe line.

#1-norm-fan 07-30-2012 11:34 PM

Punk's heel tendencies like being angry about the triple threat match bugged me.

I like the idea of him never going heel and instead just being burtally honest and not giving a fuck about being a face or heel. 2 weeks ago as a face, he would have heard that he's in a triple threat match with Show and Cena and been fine with it. Now, since he's designated a heel, he has to be angry about being put in such a situation. It irks me.

I don't know about future endeavored. He's in some serious shit though.

Still... lol

McLegend 07-30-2012 11:35 PM

The matches were at least good tonight.

I never said this RAW was shitty. Just that the three hours went by really slow (I'm talking about me, anyway. Personal opinion/experience)

I know. I'm just saying 2 hour Raws are also draining when they're shit.

They need good consistent writing and people will be begging for it to stay 3 hours. Fuck, they've got the roster depth for 4 hours if the writers were good enough.

Keith 07-31-2012 12:03 AM

AW is fucked.

Major Backstage Heat On Abraham ‘A.W.’ Washington

As you can imagine, there is major backstage heat on AW (Abraham Washington) for his comments regarding Kobe Bryant and his rape case from Colorado.

During Monday’s live WWE RAW broadcast, A.W. made an off-color remark referencing NBA player Kobe Bryant’s sexual assault case in 2003 and 2004.

As client Titus O’Neil tangled with Kofi Kingston in a singles match, A.W. yelled from ringside, “Titus O’Neil is like Kobe Bryant at a hotel in Colorado hotel room. He’s unstoppable!!”

Following the commercial break, WWE broadcaster Michael Cole issued an apology on behalf of the organization for A.W.’s remark. He then quickly transitioned to a replay of a backstage segment featuring John Cena and CM Punk that took moments prior.

In 2003, Bryant was accused of sexual assault after having sex with a hotel employee in Colorado. In September 2004, prosecutors dropped the case after his accuser refused to testify. A civil suit was later filed and settled out of court.

There are many who feel a release or suspension is forthcoming, especially since WWE apologized for the remarks upon returning from break. This is similar to the Chris Jericho flag incident where the company knew they had to take some sort of disciplinary action. This is also obviously not good for Linda McMahon’s senate run.

In addition to that, Vince McMahon was not in a good mood at RAW due to the chaos that ensued just before RAW went live. We’ll have more on his mood and backstage reaction tomorrow here on the website.

Stay tuned

Emperor Smeat 07-31-2012 12:22 AM

RAW was decent but the WWE needs to fix the first hour from dragging too much due to the constant recaps and lack of wrestling. Last week was excusable since it was a special occasion but now its two weeks where nothing really occurs in the first hour besides a single match.

The Jericho/Christian vs Ziggler/Miz tag match was the best match of the show while the Bryan evaluation skits were the funniest.

Keith 07-31-2012 12:24 AM

The Daniel Bryan/Sheamus street fight was solid.

Didn't even think about these factors. lol. Yeah, he's fucked. I wonder what he was thinking. He had to have known that was a really bad idea...

I thought Bryan vs Sheamus was much better than the tag match.

Lock Jaw 07-31-2012 12:44 AM

Not the worst 3 hour RAW I have ever seen. Actually kept me interested in watching throughout..... despite the 7 times they played the same HHH/Brock package.

That said, I don't think they can keep it up and it will become just absolutely draining and a chore. Then perhaps for the first time in 15+ years I will have to stop watching RAW live and just watch it on Youtube the next day.

Keith 07-31-2012 12:46 AM

For me, watching 3 hour RAW's and keeping up with Monday night MLB games is going to be a chore itself.

#1-norm-fan 07-31-2012 12:56 AM

The writers just need to try. It's so insane that it seems like they just throw together some stuff for the main few storylines on Monday morning an that's the show. Now with three hours, throw in some filler skits and recaps...

Seriously. These are professional writers and there's so much of a lack of organization and focus outside the main event scene.

#1-norm-fan 07-31-2012 12:58 AM

I just realized how much it sucks that last week's big Raw 1,000 was in St. Louis and Orton had to wait til this week to return. Would have been a pretty huge moment.

James Steele 07-31-2012 01:05 AM

If Orton wasn't such a fuck up/sack of shit, he could have taken part of the RAW1000 festivities.

#1-norm-fan 07-31-2012 01:13 AM

Also, if WWE had tested him a week earlier.

POOR PLANNING, WWE!

Skippord 07-31-2012 01:24 AM

I actually really liked it. I mean I need to see people's touts like I need a hole in the head, but they'll show those anyway.

SlickyTrickyDamon 07-31-2012 01:30 AM

I would have had Orton lose to Slater on Raw. That would have sent a better and bigger message to Orton than a 60 day suspension.

Canadian Blondes re-union was awesome.

Just noticed Jerry Lawler's racist line during the Kidd-Tensai match. "With all these beatings Sakamoto has been taking, he might have to change his name to Sum Ting Wong"

lol. There will be no action taken towards that though, surely.

Lock Jaw 07-31-2012 01:46 AM

Was happy to see this team back together.

Was saddened that they did not get at least some sort of backstage segment where they reunite and High Five, which spontaneously creates another fire due to its sheer force.

That line is worthy of Heenan. Good one by the King.

He probably read it this morning while googling "Funny Asian jokes" in preparation for that match.

Heenan didn't have the internet. Don't compare the two.

Hey guys, I'm watching WWF Raw is War right now and I "acquired" a file of it so I'm watching wrestling on a television and not on a crappy stream or youtube video on my laptop for the first time in about 7 years.

Corporate CockSnogger 07-31-2012 06:25 AM

This is good from Punk, didn't expect him to be getting booed so heavily so early on.

Lol piss off Big Show.

Corporate CockSnogger 07-31-2012 06:42 AM

Starting to really like this Sandow guy, he was great last week with DX.

Corporate CockSnogger 07-31-2012 06:42 AM

Corporate CockSnogger 07-31-2012 06:50 AM
