Random booking idea. (Noid post Alert)

Shane vs. Taker takes place, obviously Taker almost wins. He has Shane atop the Cell, looking to chokeslam him to hell.

Out of the crowd come 3 hooded men, who climb the Cell. Taker chokeslams them, revealing Rodney, Pete Gas, and Joey Abs. Shane takes the Chokeslam.

3 more hooded men run down the aisle, the smallest holding bolt cutters. Taker climbs down through the Cell. The door is cut open, and the three attack. They destroy Taker and drag Shane's carcass over him for the tainted win. These 3 reveal themselves as Karl Blanchard (my WWE name for him.), Luke Gallows, and Finn Balor. Taker gets stretchered out as Shane declares himself the leader of this, his Club.

Next night on Raw, Kane confronts Shane over his goons ending the Undertaker. Shane replies "It's only the beginning." The Club destroys Kane, full stretcher job. Shane declares its a new era, a time to make new stars.

Wyatt doesn't take kindly to this new guys doing what he couldn't. The Family feuds with the Club, with an 8 man tag scheduled for the PPV. The Club makes it appear as though AJ is the 4th man, bringing up their history. Ultimately, AJ appears to turn them down.

PPV comes, and its 4 Wyatts against 3 Club members. Wyatts have the numbers, or so it seems. Harper doesn't tag in. Near the end, Bray goes for Sister Abigail, and eats a Big Boot from Harper. He pulls Wyatt to his feet and delivers a Discus Lariat. Balor makes the pin.

Next night on Raw, the Club cuts a promo with their newest member. Harper declares that the masks the underlings of the Family wore denotes the control Bray has over them. He never wore a mask because Bray never truly controlled him. Bray took his allegiance for granted, but he was biding his time for Shane to make his move.

AJ comes out, they ask if he's reconsidered. He answers with a right hand to Balor. 4 on 1 to Styles, then his WWE Tag Champion Partner Jericho comes in. He puts up a fight, but both fall. Blanchard and Gallows end up winning the tag titles. Balor calls out WWE Champion Reigns, fresh off a win over Ryback. The Club beats down Reigns. A second attack pulls out Ambrose and AJ. Big 8 man is set up for SummerSlam: The Club vs. Reigns, Styles, Ambrose, and a mystery partner.

SummerSlam comes, and the Club comes out first. Then out comes AJ by himself, wearing a Black Vest and matching tights. The attire raises some eyebrows. Next is the Ambrose theme, but no Dean. Some laughs from the Club. Then the Reigns theme, cameras pan around the entrance way, but no Roman. The Club look very pleased. Then the PA blasts out...

"Sierra
Hotel
India
Echo
Lima
Delta."

The crowd goes nuts. The mystery partner is Seth Rollins. What follows is a violent match. Ultimately, a beaten and battered Reigns finally spears Gallows for the win. He is the last man standing. Out comes Shane, he gives him a sarcastic congratulations then announces that he has one more match tonight, out comes Mr. Money in the Bank to cash in his title shot. Reigns fights as best he can against the fresher opponent, and the Shield and AJ continue to fight the Club. Ref gets distracted before a Spear on the challenger. Balor does the Double Stomp on Reigns, new WWE champion, the Club's newest member: Kevin Owens.

From there, Owens feuds with Reigns. The tag champs feud with AJ and Ambrose. Rollins battles Balor. Harper goes on a monster hunt, having taken out Rowan and is after Wyatt.

Noid Post Summary: Shane leads a heel faction of Finn Balor, Karl Andersen (Blanchard as I call him), Luke Gallows, Luke Harper, and Kevin Owens.

Huh

I love it.

It could be a tough sell for the shield reunion, mainly because I can hear Cole bringing up seth selling out at least 34 times. But overall it sounds awesome.

More innovative and interesting than anything in recent memory.

Vastardikai 02-25-2016 06:14 PM

Didn't even get to John Cena: the Authority's choice.

XL 02-25-2016 06:17 PM

My one criticism is we go straight from one [INSERT WRESTLER/GROUP HERE] vs. heel authority setup to another. Would it not be refreshing for Shane to win and run things "on the level", not necessarily super babyface, but making decisions fairly? We've had The Authority (which itself is retread) for how many years now? With Vince, Bischoff, Vickie, Steph, Heyman, etc. all playing heel authority figures for how much of the last decade?

The CyNick 02-25-2016 06:25 PM

The heel booker dynamic is an easy sell. It gives structure to the entire show. However, I also wouldn't mind an even handed authority figure - similar to Regal on NXT.

I'm not convinced Shane is winning though.

XL 02-25-2016 06:33 PM

Yes it's an easy dynamic, that's why they've rested on in since '98, doesn't mean it's continuously interesting.

Vastardikai 02-25-2016 07:45 PM

Fair criticism, to be honest.

I honestly hadn't considered that. Perhaps if the Club was acting on its own, without Shane's approval, and he ultimately decided on a mostly hands off approach, while sanctioning the Club for their acts, keeping the heat on them rather than on Shane.

I like it. At the very least, it would be compelling television to see where the story arc went each week.

Jordan 02-26-2016 12:36 AM

That is really good.

I liked it but the Seth return and face turn and shield reunion is just too rushed like that. From top heel, disappears and comes back face is ok, but makingnupmwithnhismold crew is rushed,

Seth was a scew job away from being a monster face and I really think the HHH/Reigns match would have been HHH/Rollins

To me it's just a staple at this point. Without that element, I think it's harder for heels to get heat over long periods of time.
