TPWW rates PPV
 

I have always loved the Meltzer five star rating system, it was the standard in researching what tape to trade or go for back in my youth. The ***** being so rare, such a masterpiece, if you saw one for a tape, you'd have to check it out.

Now in 2012 Dave's ratings are not taking as the word of God anymore... However, for our own reference let us rate each WWE or even TNA PPV in this thread using the following system.

* is bad, you cannot get worse than bad
** is good, acceptable
*** is really good
**** is fantastic
***** is a masterpiece

It's all subjective and opinion. But as a reference I'd say the only ***** match this year would be Undertaker/Triple H at Wrestlemania

Kofi&Truth/PTP - **
Rey/Miz - ** 1/2

Forgot to say, for that horrible musical performance I'd give the PPV * 1/2

You should change your rating system to something more like this:

* - Bad
** - Ok
*** - Good
**** - very Good
***** - Masterpiece

Saying something is "good", and then giving it only two stars seems a bit odd.

With that said, I'd give Summerslam ***. As in, my three stars, meaning it was good.

I like that rating system better.

SummerSlam gets *** for me as well.

Probably. I'd say Lesnar vs Cena was pretty damn close though. Some of the best drama WWE has supplied in a match in years.

I'd put Punk-Kane-Bryan from No Way Out and Punk-Bryan from Money In The Bank up there for 5 star mention. But I also don't think a match has to be perfect to be 5 stars, it jut depends on how entertained I am.

Dawg, no way was Kane vs Daniel Bryan as good as Jericho vs. Ziggles. The best matches that night was Jericho vs Ziggles and Rey Mysterio vs. Miz.
