What are the multiplayer maps like?
Any surprise come backs by past maps?

Dunno, just been playing Firefight which are all new maps.

Depends on the place you pre ordered I think. Gamestop is giving a code for an armory item.

i didnt play the beta but i really hope Reach is a happy medium between Halo and ODST gameplay wise.

Halo 3 just didnt do it for me, but i liked how ODST made you think more because you werent some super soldier with rocket boots.

Well now you can be a super soldier with a rocket pack so I don't think this is for you.

Seriously it's still Halo. It does very little to reel in new players to the mold, it's a celebration of the franchise. And fucking awesome.

My Halo group (we've played Halo regularly on either a weekly or bi-weekly schedule since Halo 1, kept with Halo 1 until Halo 3, and then played 3 until now) will be having a Reach party the weekend after its release to decide if we will be switching over to it or not. The finished product will also determine whether I purchase this or not. My dad practically offered to buy this after he saw there was a new Halo game coming out, and I am tempted simply because I haven't had a good shooter to play for months now. Mostly hoping that the things I didn't like about the beta will be fixed, or overlookable in the finished product.

If you liked Halo 1, you'll most likely like Reach.

Honestly haven't had this much fun with a Halo game since we had 16 people over our house playing Halo.

Gonna take some time to learn the new maps. Never played 1 or 2 so ones like the Cage are still new to me. Suicide by jumping over the edge to avoid grenades, fuuuuu :'(

Myself, my cousin and a friend stood in line at a local gamestop for 2 hours. We had nothing else to do so figured we would go check everything out. There was about 300 people ine line with us. They were handing out prizes and shit. My friend ended up winning a display box for the game and sold it to some kid for $10. Who then acted like he won it and it was a message from god that he got it.

Didnt play any real online multiplayer. I screwed around in forge world with a few friends checking all the stuff out and then we jumped into firefight for about an hour and a half. Got all the firefight achievs except for 1,000,000. That looks like its gonna take forever. I know there are a few maps out that say you can get it in like an hour but I dont see how those work.

The only change we really noticed from the beta so far is the active camo. It no longer makes you invisible while you are moving. The more you move the more visible you are and in order to stay 100% not seen yo have to stay perfectly still.

Cousin tricked a few people with the hologram as well...that was pretty funny.

2 hour wait, that's cruel. And I thought waiting in line for Modern Warfare 2 was a bad experience.
