Each mission took atleast an hour...

Reach didn't go over so well at the Halo party tonight. Split-screen is not very polished. They made a big deal about all this awesome stuff they can do with Forge now, but with 4-player split screen the render distance is HORRIBLE. Can't even play blood gulch because you can't see across half the map. Honestly, it looks extremely cheap graphically as well. Like they just toned the renders way down in order to do what they wanted with the ginormous Forge map, and it just looks poorly done with 4-player on one screen (we play 4 on 4s). Mostly, it was just the render distance that killed it. Small maps, and Bungie maps weren't bad.. but any big map was virtually impossible to play, and was not fun.

We are going to give it more time, to make custom game types and maps, but about half the people didn't like it, and we didn't really have much fun most of the night. Still, I insisted that most of the problems were from not having our own maps yet, and not having the games set up the way we like to play yet.

After a terrible first few nights, me and my guys are finally getting into the groove. I'm stabilizing my win/loss ratio in Team Slayer. My Objectives record is pretty good. My K/D is stabilizing as well.

1 more level to go on legendary, probably could of finished it, but had to stop, hands were killing me, played from 3 to 7.

I don't see how there would be since the ending sets up Halo. Unless you are talking about this

Anyone know how to change the thing on your name bar next to your rank on multiplayer. I always see people with different ones and I always thought it had to do with you doing something on bungie.com but I cant figure it out. I see people with the halo 2, odst, and 3 logo and others but I was curious how you change it.

Yeah so I bought this.

Played some Arena Doubles earlier and got my 3 games. Think I have like a 1535 rating or something. Played like 8 games or so I think. Was absolutely destroying some faces and even made a team quit out. Lost like 2 games though. One was close.. the other was an absolute thrashing. Couple people knew the map better than we did, and camped a spot with sniper/shottie and sniper/rocket for MOST of the game. Couldn't do anything about it.. We'd kill them, and 15 seconds later they'd be back with the same guns again. Felt like they were spawning with the weapons, as they'd have them back instantly.

I found just messing around in forge and randomly dropping building blocks around nets you like 4500 xp/credits/whatever you wanna call them in this.

You sure about that? I only ever get 60cR.

Yeah, I almost went through Warrant Officer 2 solely from doing forge.

Bungie are cracking down on Cr farmers

Assassinations are new. Hold the melee button behind your enemy and you'll go into an assassination move. It costs time so you might wanna kill with conventional means during certain games. The animation doesn't change the status automatically, there is a ''kill' frame that can be cheated. Someone could save you during an animation and people can even steal your kill right before you knife a fool.

I don't have live, so doesn't really matter.

There is a 'Legendary' Ending, just like there is with every other Halo game.
Bungie have mentioned it...
People think it is something to do with either, the data pads.

The golden ranger elites, which on the bungie.net medals are called BOBs.
Reference to Marathon for the guys who are Born On Board.
There are 1-2 on each level... Not all have been found yet.
Pretty interesting stuff though, there's a huge thread over at Bungie.net dedicated to finding all of them.

There is also a tribute room with loads of stuff like Red vs Blue and HBO, a secret race track...
And random buttons in rocks which have been found, people don't know what they activate yet.

Really hope they eventually add matchmaking to forge, like like they did with halo 3. Don't really know enough people to get a custom game going.

I beat it on legendary and the ending was exactly the same as normal.

Someone mentioned this to me a few hours ago so I decided to look it up a bit.

Bungie is cracking down on those who are somehow resetting the challenges in order to max their score. But from I heard there is a trick in firefight gruntpocalypse that people have been using and Bungie has threatened to ban people but no one has gotten the kick yet. The main thought behind that is Bungie can ban for the challenge thing because they are resetting the system. Cant ban firefight players because they are actually playing the game.

How ever there is a credit cap that you can reach where you wont receive credits anymore. Im not sure if thats just the day or the whole week.

Thought I would never say this, but the spawns on this game are worse than Call of Duty. Other than that been having a pretty good time with Halo. Never really much got into the series, but this game isn't half bad. The community is shit, but the game itself isn't too shabby.

I wish I had live just so people could play my maps and tell me if they suck or not :( Everyone's been busy so we haven't been able to get our 6 player lan stuff going since before I made my shotgun love and rocket whore maps.
