Wait. So did the WWE just scrap the Orton WM plans?
What's this Battle Royal bullshit to see who faces Bray at WM? Is this for real? What the fuck?
lol
Dont fucking laugh at me bro.
There's no way unless he goes after the Big Red Belt.
MARRRRRRKS
Neeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeerdddddddds
the gimmick would be more effective if he called people dweebs.
but that comes down to the great nerds vs dweebs debate of '86
Alright i'm done with wrestling forums. Fuck you guys.

will be interesting to see where they go!!!!!! orton will still prob face wyatt imo! |
The Viper is just waiting to strike outta nowhere.
Harper will win the battle royal, Wyatt triple threat at mania, obviously.
Harper wins but I think Orton manages.
Really creative twist. Like how they are not going in a straight line with this program. Excellent storytelling.
The only reason I find this interesting is because I don't want to see Orton vs. Wyatt at WrestleMania. This gives me hope, but it will probably just end up being Wyatt vs. Orton.
Please see: Storytelling @ OP.

I like it! Least they are shitting right into the bucket with this
Would be funny if Randy tweeted at daniel "Stop! I'm working an angle here!"

I HOPE ROMAN REIGNS WINS THIS FUCKING BATTLE ROYAL AND BEATS BRAY WYATT IN 10 SECONDS WITH A SUPER SUPER MAN PUNCH OF DOOM
Fuck you all. Fuck you all to hell! |

I would be down with this just for the reaction from everyone. |
If it were Lesnar vs Owens at Fast lane I could definitely see Orton demanding a shot at Lesnar for the Universal title after the Summerslam debacle.

Wow RP, you gonna let him say that to you?
Feels weird that (as of now) the Royal Rumble winner won't headline WrestleMania.
But this is very interesting. I saw/heard people complain that Orton abandoned his character immediately after winning the Rumble. Now he is all in on the family. I like it. This is the best Orton has been, character-wise, in a long time. Glad he gets to keep doing it for a bit. |
Brays gonna lose it before Mania and Bray gonna order him to win it back for him at WM
Nah Harper will win the battle royal, Rowan will come back and errrrrrbody gon say "who side he on?"
lol I would prefer Roman destroys everyone completely than overcomes the odds (in reference to RP's spazz post), you may be onto something.
Like certain guys just aren't believable when they're underneath all match. I think that's what always rubbed people the wrong way about Cena. He would get the "shit kicked" out of him but you'd just wait for the come back. It worked for Hogan because of the time period but it's just boring. If you want Roman to be the guy, and you want him to be face (or heel even), just have him fuck people up. Selling all the time just makes him look like a loser, and when he comes back like nothing happened it just rubs into people's faces that this shit is inauthentic. |
I hope Apollo Crews wins the Battle Royal and destroys Bray Wyatt in 2 seconds with one hand behind his back.
Here's the best WM card.
60 minute iron man match: Orton vs Wyatt 60 minute iron man match: Goldberg vs Lesnar 60 minute iron man match Undertaker vs Reigns 60 minute iron man match: everybody else on the roster including the women in a 50 person iron man match. |

It feels weird that they aren't just going towards Wyatt vs. Orton. I wonder if the plan is to include Luke Harper just because? As much as I wish he had a better build to the story, it'd be a nice feeling to see Harper in a WWE Title match at WrestleMania. Could see it being Kane too. "God dammit, pal -- you're Kane! How haven't you had a championship opportunity at WrestleMania yet?!?" |
Apollo Crews vs Roman Reigns for the title
The lead up to the match will include Apollo adding a w on the end of his first name. Apollow Crews. |
Appalachian Crows
Apollow Cruise and Tom Cruise tag team at Wrestlemania. They call themselves Scientology Alpha
Oh, I missed this. Intriguing... they're selling the angle. I like that.

but "excellent" storytelling? lol |

I hope Roman Reigns faces HBK and Chris Jericho and AJ Styles and spears all of them 5 times each and then stacks them on top of eachother and pins them with his foot while flexing to the crowd and combing is hair.
I want to see Undertaker in the title picture one last time.
The Orton situation seems totally bizarre though and I wonder if this may lead onto something post-WM e.g. Orton costs Wyatt the title or perhaps bizarrely, Orton challenges the winner of Wyatt v (insert name) immediately after the match or later on the card and then Wyatt costs him the match etc? I can't imagine Orton will simply "walk away". Reigns v Taker wouldn't work imo neither would Strowman v Taker. Of course, we've totally ignored Cena in all this, maybe he will get number 17 at WM? I think that will be for another time though probably later this year or next year's mania. So personally I want to see Taker v Wyatt for the title and Orton costing Wyatt the title. |
Wyatt must retain at WM! Him as champ has been the one thing that has restored at least a little bit of my faith in WWE creative!

And surely in the unlikely event he were defending against Taker, surely they won't make Taker lose? I want to see Taker win the belt one last time. I want to see Goldberg get another win over Lesnar and end that feud. The next night on RAW Goldberg announces his retirement. Lesnar then comes out and concedes Goldberg was the better man and that beyond the streak and his brief title run(s), Lesnar himself feels there's nothing left to prove. Out comes Undertaker who then talks about his "road to redemption" winning the title etc but that no matter what, Lesnar ending the streak will always be a blot on his career. And so he challenges Lesnar to one final match at WM 34 which will be in the same venue where the streak ended. Lesnar accepts and WWE spend a year building up Taker's final match. I do feel WM 34 being in the Super Dome, Taker involved in the promo etc. means he will factor in the event and it may well be his final WM. |
Although contrary to the above, Taker could win the title, Lesnar win the title and they build up to a title v title match with the assumption both men will be title holders by the time WM 34 comes along?
That would be a fitting final match for either or both men. I just want to see Taker win that belt one last time. |
I'd love to see taker win it one last time too....however he just doesn't have enough in the tank to be champion imo. Even a once every few months champion like lesnar. Taker is past that point.
I also think taker should put over bray at his last mania. Bray is the spiritual successor to the taker gimmick so it's only fitting. The only other way I would go of your putting taker in it is to have him win the title from wyatt at wm due to interference from orton, who is trying to help bray but inadvertently screws up. then he promptly invokes his wm match clause for being the rumble winner and beats taker for the title. This leads to the tension that cause orton to split from wyatt eventually. |

Bray reminds me a little of The Undertaker in terms of "dark" themes, Mankind in terms of this weirdly sympathetic "human" side to the monster and even a bit of Ric Flair -- with a built-in gimmick that allows him to surround himself with groups of people to make sure he stays champion.

I think if they were going to go with Wyatt being the successor they'd have already had him beat Taker at WM 31 which I think should have been the case instead of Lesnar. Taker could hold and defend the title sporadically maybe dropping it to Cena at Summer Slam. I do think a final match between Taker and Lesnar closing out WM 34 in the Super Dome would be a fitting farewell. Beyond this year I would also question what is really left for Lesnar in the WWE. He's certainly not old but beyond this Goldberg feud and the scenario with the Undertaker what's left? Maybe a feud with Orton and Wyatt but wouldn't be too exciting. Jericho? Nope. Owens? Nope. Cena again would be tedious and I don't think we will see another Triple H v Lesnar and indeed, I don't see the Rock coming back for "one last match" against Lesnar. The Rock is firmly a Hollywood star, maybe an appearance here and there but he ain't wrestling any more unless some weird-ass celeb tag match or something. No idea if Lesnar wants to go back into MMA but as I said once this feud is done, there really seems to be nothing left for Lesnar even as a part-time player and so I think in view of their respective matches, a build up to a final feud between Taker and Lesnar would be the way to go. Taker avenges his defeat at WM 34 and that's the end of Taker's career. EDIT: Lesnar has retired from MMA. I think Goldberg beating Lesnar is the way to go too. Another squash win would sell the fans short. A more drawn out brutal match but with Goldberg coming out on top again. Vince doesn't like to have the WCW guys come out on top especially at WM (see Sting) but I think Goldberg coming back was a huge moment and he is owed his moment in the spotlight. Lesnar already has arguably the biggest moment in Wrestle Mania/WWE history so him losing to Goldberg wouldn't be a biggie. It would seem out of character but would maybe like to see them both shake hands at the end, not a friendly embrace but just an acknowledgement from Lesnar in the vein of HBK i.e. "I had to know for myself and now I do". Goldberg needs his standout WWE/WM moment and I hope they'll give it to him before he retires. That then sets up the scene for Taker and Lesnar. Lesnar comes out on Raw and laments his performances against Goldberg as the blot on his career and then says he done everything else there is to be done and that conquering the streak is his. Then out comes Undertaker, Lesnar taunts him, Taker acknowledges that Lesnar's win tarnished his career and he wants to avenge that one last time before retiring. I think they should build up to that as Taker's final match regardless of the result. Lesnar will still wrestle the odd match beyond WM 34 but they should make WM 34 all about Taker. |
Lesnar re-retired from UFC.
Hope Harper wins this and makes it a Wyatt Triple Threat. Love Harper.
Ooo what if Harper wins....triple threat at Mania....then THE SWERVE OF THE YEAR AND THEY PUT THE TITLE ON HARPER.
John Cena vs Roman Regins- Best 2 out of 3 falls- All three are Iron Man matches- For the Smackdown title.
I love Harper, but it seems an odd situation to be in where they can knight him, but they have to cut Wyatt's reign short. It feels like both Wyatt and Harper would be in "must win" situations.
It's funny to watch RP spazz out, lol

Luke Harper vs Bray Wyatt in a oil wrestling match

Bra & Panties would be better.
Seriously though -- I think Roman Reigns would be the best choice for Universal Champion right now. Goldberg and Brock fighting seems like a feature bout. Owens is a mid-carder. Reigns vs. Taker as a match for the yard and for the belt makes a lot of sense.
