Is there some kinda of dimension setting to mess around with?

That sometimes helps

or you could actually buy them game :shifty:

Penner 01-30-2004 02:39 PM

Disturbed316 01-30-2004 04:57 PM

some screens allow you to mess around with the 'V position'

maybe its just mine flat screen that allows that :-\

God, stop fu</>cking moaning when things go wrong with downloaded games. If can't be arsed paying for a game, you waive your right to expect it to work. As the saying goes, you get what you pay for... you paid for fu</>ck all, so don't expect complete working game that's utterly flawless.

Download all the stuff you want, just stop crying when you get a shoddy copy.

hhhmmm well i know that since playstation discs are in fact dvds i reckon that maybe you downloaded Nba Street 2 in pal format( UK format)? Cause like i know that NTSC is the format for US/Canada. Okay i don't have a ps2 so i don't know whats wrong, but thats the only thing that comes to mind( same thing would occur for movies if you view a PAL format movie on your tv the picture/resolution would be screwed up a little), example:

DVD NTSC (MPEG-2 720x480 29.97fps CQ 65, Layer-2 48000Hz 384kbps)
DVD PAL (MPEG-2 720x576 25fps CQ 65, Layer-2 48000Hz 384kbps)

Check this out as an example my friend:

Of course he downloaded it in PAL format, he was moaning about that just a few weeks ago.

sadio8 01-30-2004 06:36 PM

Obviously.....

That's why I bought a multisystem tv....otherwise....you probably need to have a tv with v-hold like they've said.

I'm not really crying.

I'm just asking for a solution. Or is that too much to ask?

If you didn't want to help me out because I downloaded the game, then you don't have to reply to the topic :y:.

Penner 01-31-2004 12:24 AM

I'm thinking I downloaded the game that was PAL, but it was converted to NTSC, so the black and white was changed into the colour, but the screen was left at its position. So the picture is still down a bit.

Oh well. I guess there is no solution. That's all right.

You get what you paid for.

...which isn't always true, SO DOWNLOAD MORE.

Certainly not true quality wise, but at least you don't usually get gaping technical flaws either. :p
