Kanes See No Evil: Was actually quite good. and am not dissing Rocky at all love the Rocky anthology. Just Hogans scenes in it ruin the whole Rocky III.

STARRING a wrestler, I'd have to say either Mr. Nanny (cant believe I liked suburban commando over that trash, but at least taker had a cameo in SC), or no holds barred (i liked the movie as a kid, but as an adult (shudder)).
Having a wrestler in it, I'd say ready to rumble. honorable mentions include DOA, grandmas boy, and other "gems" I never saw chaperone, knucklehead, the marine, 12 rounds, etc, so i cant comment on those except that i couldnt get past the previews. I liked see no evil w kane, mainly because of its campness. |
another honorable mention, even though i liked it for its cheesy campness, is the Roddy Piper movie "they live"

And directed by the awesome John Carpenter.. |
Holy shit, They Live should not be mentioned in this thread. It's a fucking classic.
|
Have to add a better one: Champions (1998)
Ken Shamrock was a wrestler at one point so it counts. Anyway, this movie makes Mr. Nanny look like They Live and Body Slam look like the Wrestler. <iframe width="420" height="315" src="http://www.youtube.com/embed/QeSY5t5UILU" frameborder="0" allowfullscreen></iframe> |
Santa's Slay with Bill Goldberg

Out of the o es I have seen I would have to say the chaperrone. Of the wwe films I actually liked the marine, see no evil and knucklehead
|
Rocky III rules. Hogan was epic in that role.
|
On a side note, anyone else ever notice exactly how many movies Terry Funk has been in? And he's always some flunky who gets his ass kicked and/or killed.
|
Clint Howard + Hogan + Mila Kunis at 6 years old + Santa = hilarious fail!

Although he was in Paradise Alley, probably the worst movie ever starring a pro wrestler and with probably the worst theme music,Stallone cant sing:nono: |
Yeah, both Santa's Slay and Santa with Muscles I put in the "So bad that they're entertaining" group. I can't put them as low as the ones that are just all around awful.

So someone didn't understand how production music works, and ThroughaMirrorDarklyInsect posts something vaguely helpful, and people are bitchy and confused.
Holy shit, this forum has reached critical ass. |

The Month of May and Wrestlers Deaths???
I started doing a bit of digging, and May kept on popping up. either it was the month of being born or the month of them passing away.
(It's interesting to note, that Rod McMahon was born in May, were as His son Vince passed away also in May. Vincent Kennedy "Vince" McMahon: (66) (born August 24, 1945) Vince McMahon, Sr: (aged 69) (July 6th, 1914 - May 24th, 1984) Roderick James "Jess" McMahon (aged 72)~ (May 26, 1882 – November 22, 1954) Owen James Hart (aged 34) (Odd that Owen was born in May, and also passed in may.). (May 7, 1965 – May 23, 1999) David "Davey" Boy Smith (aged 39) (November 27, 1962 – May 18, 2002) Stewart Edward "Stu" Hart, CM (May 3, 1915 – October 16, 2003) Christopher Michael "Chris" Benoit (aged 40) (May 21, 1967 – June 24, 2007) |
I wouldn't read that much into it. There are only 12 months, and a lot of dead wrestlers, so one of them was bound to have the most.

Curt Hennig, Louie Spicolli, Eddie Gilbert, Gino Hernandez, David Von Erich, Kerry Von Erich, Mike Awesome, Buzz Sawyer, Whipper Billy Watson, George Hackenschmidt, Johnny Grunge, The Renegade etc. That's February. We're doomed.
|
Yeah probably a curse. Only explanation I can think of.
|
Think Febuary got the better selection though.
|
What in the sam hell is the point of this shit?
|
It would be one thing if it was all deaths, but you can't just throw in people that were born in May. Seems silly. I'm noticing just about zero correlation to anything here.
|
lol. Does this topic really exist right now?
|
OMG!!! I WAS BORN IN MAY!!!!!! THIS IS SOOOOO CREEPY!!!!!!!111111111111111111
