Kanes See No Evil: Was actually quite good. and am not dissing Rocky at all love the Rocky anthology. Just Hogans scenes in it ruin the whole Rocky III.

Logan 02-13-2012 02:00 AM

STARRING a wrestler, I'd have to say either Mr. Nanny (cant believe I liked suburban commando over that trash, but at least taker had a cameo in SC), or no holds barred (i liked the movie as a kid, but as an adult (shudder)).

Having a wrestler in it, I'd say ready to rumble.

honorable mentions include DOA, grandmas boy, and other "gems"

I never saw chaperone, knucklehead, the marine, 12 rounds, etc, so i cant comment on those except that i couldnt get past the previews.

I liked see no evil w kane, mainly because of its campness.

Logan 02-13-2012 02:13 AM

another honorable mention, even though i liked it for its cheesy campness, is the Roddy Piper movie "they live"

You wrote something negative on the internet about a movie?
You must be a well rounded film critic.

They Live is probably the actual best movie staring a wrestler ever done.
And directed by the awesome John Carpenter..

#1-norm-fan 02-13-2012 03:01 AM

Holy shit, They Live should not be mentioned in this thread. It's a fucking classic.

Vastardikai 02-13-2012 03:24 AM

Have to add a better one: Champions (1998)

Ken Shamrock was a wrestler at one point so it counts. Anyway, this movie makes Mr. Nanny look like They Live and Body Slam look like the Wrestler.

Out of the o es I have seen I would have to say the chaperrone. Of the wwe films I actually liked the marine, see no evil and knucklehead

Zeeboe 02-13-2012 06:41 AM

Rocky III rules. Hogan was epic in that role.

Tom Guycott 02-13-2012 08:36 AM

On a side note, anyone else ever notice exactly how many movies Terry Funk has been in? And he's always some flunky who gets his ass kicked and/or killed.

legendkillerRKO 02-13-2012 08:43 AM

Clint Howard + Hogan + Mila Kunis at 6 years old + Santa = hilarious fail!

He did it for the S.A.G. health insurance, not as crazy as he looks.

Although he was in Paradise Alley, probably the worst movie ever starring a pro wrestler and with probably the worst theme music,Stallone cant sing:nono:

#1-norm-fan 02-13-2012 09:41 AM

Yeah, both Santa's Slay and Santa with Muscles I put in the "So bad that they're entertaining" group. I can't put them as low as the ones that are just all around awful.

That's not Conan...(just in case you didn't know that). Besides, why would I be angry? I just got the best news of my life Tuesday that I'm still in charge of RAW! It'll be so good to see ol' Shawn again in about another hour when he finally gets to the arena.

Kane Knight 02-13-2012 10:59 AM

So someone didn't understand how production music works, and ThroughaMirrorDarklyInsect posts something vaguely helpful, and people are bitchy and confused.

Holy shit, this forum has reached critical ass.

Yeah I watched it in theater and it was actually pretty good..for sure exceeded my expectations. lol. Anything with Hogan pretty much sucks in my opinion.

DAMN iNATOR 02-13-2012 12:50 PM

The Month of May and Wrestlers Deaths???

I started doing a bit of digging, and May kept on popping up. either it was the month of being born or the month of them passing away.

(It's interesting to note, that Rod McMahon was born in May, were as
His son Vince passed away also in May.

Vincent Kennedy "Vince" McMahon: (66)
(born August 24, 1945)

Vince McMahon, Sr: (aged 69)
(July 6th, 1914 - May 24th, 1984)

Roderick James "Jess" McMahon (aged 72)~
(May 26, 1882 – November 22, 1954)

Owen James Hart (aged 34) (Odd that Owen was born in May, and also passed in may.).

David "Davey" Boy Smith (aged 39)

Nowhere Man 02-13-2012 11:59 PM

I wouldn't read that much into it. There are only 12 months, and a lot of dead wrestlers, so one of them was bound to have the most.

It's not just passed on wrestler's though it goes deeper. :)

How?

CSL 02-14-2012 06:20 AM

Curt Hennig, Louie Spicolli, Eddie Gilbert, Gino Hernandez, David Von Erich, Kerry Von Erich, Mike Awesome, Buzz Sawyer, Whipper Billy Watson, George Hackenschmidt, Johnny Grunge, The Renegade etc. That's February. We're doomed.

Corporate CockSnogger 02-14-2012 06:27 AM

Yeah probably a curse. Only explanation I can think of.

whiteyford 02-14-2012 06:45 AM

Think Febuary got the better selection though.

dhellova guy 02-14-2012 01:19 PM

What in the sam hell is the point of this shit?

Anybody Thrilla 02-14-2012 01:45 PM

It would be one thing if it was all deaths, but you can't just throw in people that were born in May. Seems silly. I'm noticing just about zero correlation to anything here.

#1-norm-fan 02-14-2012 01:46 PM

lol. Does this topic really exist right now?

Destor 02-14-2012 01:47 PM

OMG!!! I WAS BORN IN MAY!!!!!! THIS IS SOOOOO CREEPY!!!!!!!111111111111111111

Anybody Thrilla 02-14-2012 01:51 PM

May 15th right here.

Anybody Thrilla 02-14-2012 01:52 PM

And don't even talk to Kane about May 19th.

Razzamajazz 02-14-2012 03:15 PM

i was walking down the street one day in the merry merry month of may
