Forde said right now there has to be a Final Four for the Heisman (although he said it could change)

McFadden Jr RB Arkansas
Ryan Sr QB BC
Woodson Sr QB UK
Tebow Soph QB Florida

BCWWF 09-18-2007 12:20 AM

Forde was here a couple weeks ago and talked to us about sports writing for a while and then took us out to dinner.

I think ND is lookin at like, 2-10 this year.

Jesus Shuttlesworth 09-18-2007 02:44 PM

I can't wait to see them play USC, its going to be a complete massacre

RAY RICE

mrslackalack 09-18-2007 10:05 PM

Yeah Rice should def be on that list.

RP 09-22-2007 10:36 PM

Minnesota is the most laughable team ever. Seriously. I'm in tears laughing at how bad they are.

RP 09-22-2007 10:38 PM

Purdue is kicking a field goal with 30 seconds or so to go in the first half that would have put them up 27 -3. Minnesota blocks it. This real fast looking dude picks it up and start booking it down the field. THANK GOD the Purdue field goal place holder was hustling down the field trying to catch this kid despite having no shot what so ever. And Jamaal Harris drops the football!!!!!! LOL He didnt get hit, he just dropped the ball. He was 20 yards away from the place holder and he dropped it. Purdue recovered. So hilarious.

MTH15 09-23-2007 12:49 AM

Good game from Georgia. My high school teammate Jeff Owens plays for Georgia. Big Jeff Roosevelt Rough Riders. Get at me.

BCWWF 09-23-2007 03:59 PM

Yeah I didn't realize Minnesota would be this bad. The quarterback went to my high school thought - started as a freshman my junior year - and is dating my friends younger sister. Really cool guy.

mrslackalack 09-23-2007 10:03 PM

I bet Minn fans are more juked about b-ball this season considering they got Tubby Smith as their coach now.

mrslackalack 09-23-2007 10:04 PM

I think Northwestern might be worse than Minn in fb this season. They lost to Duke and got demolished by OSU.

BCWWF 09-24-2007 10:44 AM

Minnesota basketball still won't be good yet with Tubby Smith. They have no players at all (including another from my high school, 2005 Minnesota Mr. Basketball, but a 6'5" high school post player isn't too effective in college)

mrslackalack 09-24-2007 10:15 PM

Yeah I did hear that the Minnesota roster is a mess right now. But I do believe that Tubby has a good shot to get them to the NIT.

mrslackalack 09-24-2007 10:17 PM

Any1 see OK St head FB coach Mike Gundy go nuts over a newspaper headline that he was furious about? And this was after his team won!

Nervous Ferret 09-24-2007 11:45 PM

"I'm an adult. I'm 40"

Mercury Bullet 09-25-2007 08:16 AM

I give him credit for caring about his players.

Kris P Lettus 09-29-2007 11:20 AM

Mississippi State is 3-1 when they are supposed to be horrible.. They beat Auburn but the true test is today against SC..

That's gonna be the game of the day, IMO..

owenbrown 09-29-2007 12:11 PM

# 5 West Virginia lost to # 18 South Florida last night. Is this bizarro world in college football this year or what?! :wtf:

Kris P Lettus 09-29-2007 12:18 PM

South Florida is good..

You've heard the term "any given Sunday", well it works on Saturday too..

You've also heard that every team is due for a good season at some point...Well, they aren't shitting us this year.

Kris P Lettus 09-29-2007 02:14 PM

WOOOOOOOOOO

Purduuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuue

owenbrown 09-29-2007 04:52 PM

Kentucky is 5-0 :D

MTH15 09-29-2007 06:36 PM

Go V Tech

mrslackalack 09-29-2007 06:42 PM

So. Fla is a very talented team. In the past couple of years they pulled off some big upsets like blowing out Louisville and winning at WV. But this year they have shown their a national player and have a great shot to win the Big East now considering WV and UL have losses in their conf. However Rutgers and Cincy are both dangerous as well and WV and UL are still good teams.

mrslackalack 09-29-2007 06:47 PM

Well Skip Bayless has dissed UK this year Owenbrown. He called them the most overated team in the country and no way they will be in the top 15 when the seasons over. I guess hes forgot that in the past year UK has beaten Georgia, Clemson, at Arkansas, and Louisville. Their schedule left this season is brutal (home games vs Florida, LSU, Tennesee, and Miss St) (road games vs South Carolina, Georgia, Vandy) But they should pull a couple more Ws out of it

SammyG 09-29-2007 06:52 PM

lol ND

Also, Montana won today. Again.

mrslackalack 09-29-2007 07:09 PM

ND will def be 0-8. UCLA, BC, and USC will all be Ls. Stanford, Air Force, Navy, and Duke are possible Ws

Jesus Shuttlesworth 09-30-2007 02:18 AM

haha I'm loving ever minute of ND's terrible season

Also, wow @ a lot of the top 10 teams losing this week...hmm wonder if Boston College can crack the top 5?

Skippord 09-30-2007 02:47 AM

God Skip Bayless is a complete retard

Skip Bayless sucks.... I couldn't agree more with the quote below...

That is why I am so glad Woody Paige left him and that abysmal show in New York(now in Bristol(aka ESPN), CT) and went back to Denver. Bayless will be eating his words if UK beats Florida and/or LSU

Skippord 09-30-2007 04:10 AM

Woody Paige is my favorite person ever

MTH15 09-30-2007 04:20 AM

So many fuckin upsets today. Washington was so close to upsetting USC. What a weekend if they would have.

BCWWF 09-30-2007 11:44 AM

Jeez, it was pretty much accepted that teams 1-4 were legit and everybody else sucks, but now USC-LSU is pretty much guaranteed it seems.

I'm not surprised for a second that K-State blew out Texas, but Oklahoma should not have lost their game. Weird.

MTH15 09-30-2007 06:29 PM

Thanks. VT not in the top 10 :( I dont understand. They lost to LSU everyone else lost to teams not even in the top 15

mrslackalack 09-30-2007 10:21 PM

Id say MTH the reason is VT not having a high quality win yet, most of the teams in the top 10 have a pretty good quality win or 2.

mrslackalack 09-30-2007 10:30 PM

Huge weekend of games next week!

Florida at LSU
UK at South Carolina
Texas vs Oklahoma
Ohio State at Purdue
Georgia at Tennesee
VT at Clemson
Cincy at Rutgers
Nebraska at Missouri
