He's very similar to some of my favorite fighters of all time.. Guys like Henderson, Cain, and Couture.. Smart, athletic, well spoken, beast mode, powerful, soon to be multi weight class, bad ass wrestlers, etc..

Can not wait for him to wreck Mir on 4/20..

He said he plans to drop down to 205 if he does win.. I figure, one "big" win against a contender would put him right there to fight Jones.. I think stylistically him vs Machida would be f'n sweet..

Cormier at 205 against Jones would be very intriguing. Cormier versus the winner Evans/Hendo would be a better match up in my opinion.

I don't want to see anyone fight Machida. I respect his style and think from a fighter's perspective it's probably much better for career longevity, HOWEVA, as a fan, Machida can fuck off.

I agree but he still presents the "elusive striker" mystery for a powerful wrestler like DC.. I still like oldskool matches like that..

I really want Phil Davis Vs Cormier for his first 205 fight. Then, if he wins that, a fight against either Jones or Glover.

No idea why but he rubs me the wrong way.

I still kind of like him though. It's maybe because he keeps beating guys I want to win? No idea.

I'm still sad about the Barnett fight :(

I can see why people don't like him BC he is supercocky and he latches onto Cains success, but he has had plenty of success on his own and it can be argued that Cain wouldn't be as successful without DC coaching his wrestling.


The simple fact he easily took out a top ten powerhouse, immediately cornered Cain in a title fight, then went and called his own highlights for FOX is fucking awesome in my opinion.
