Seeing the Knicks as legitimate competition again would be incredible IMO.

Juan 05-14-2010 03:10 AM

Agreed

Nark Order 05-14-2010 03:16 AM

Read an article just a second ago and the Knicks would probably look to pick up Chris Bosh along with LeBron. That would be a GREAT start.

alvarado52 05-14-2010 04:04 AM

the Knick pretty much HAVE to get someone first to entice James to sign...otherwise, he's either staying or going to play with Rose in Chicago.

Juan 05-14-2010 04:08 AM

I think Chicago is the least likely scenario

Dragon 05-14-2010 04:38 AM

Yeah, Knicks have room for two of the big name guys. They only have 4 or 5 players actually signed for next year.

Dragon 05-14-2010 05:08 AM

Also heard Chicago a lot as a favorite to land LeBron and I can't really picture that. Maybe I'm wrong and LeBron is up for the challenge of living up to Jordan's legacy but I can't imagine it.

Not really. All Lebron has to do is say I want so and so on the team, let me talk to him and the Knicks will say "Here take this contract with you"

Curry, Chandler, Gallinari, and Douglas I think.

Loose Cannon 05-14-2010 10:06 AM

They have the wrong Curry :(

Innovator 05-14-2010 10:16 AM

If I was Donnie Walsh I'd have Chris Bosh locked up at 12:01am on July 1st

No, no he isn't. After watching LeBron go down to the Celtics, LeBron isn't better than Kobe.

Pippen was overrated, Jordan made a good player look great, I mean look at Scotties career without Jordan.

And as a Raptors fan, I'd say thank you, and hope we get Lee in a Sign and Trade, cause Bosh wants max money with max years. And to me, after watching him play for 6 years, I'd say he isn't worth it.

OssMan 05-14-2010 01:50 PM

James LeBron

Innovator 05-14-2010 02:42 PM

Well, Browns gone

Innovator 05-14-2010 02:50 PM

Now they're refuting the story, saying he's being evaluated

Evil Vito 05-14-2010 03:47 PM

<font color=goldenrod>"Evaluation process" = calling LeBron and checking to see if keeping Brown is a necessity for LeBron to stay</font>

McLegend 05-14-2010 06:28 PM

Wow how quickly everyone forgets how Kobe couldn't win a playoff series before he got Pau Gasol.

Amazing.

Also this is just a prediction but I can see Mike Brown being your next Coach of the Philadelphia 76ers.

Nark Order 05-14-2010 06:44 PM

Kobe has always had more to work with than LeBron. There was a short time after Shaq left where Kobe was carrying the team on his back, and it definitely showed because Lakeshow started going downhill. As great as Kobe is, he's ALWAYS had solid back-up.

You could throw LeBron onto ANY team and that team would be instant playoff contenders. I don't think the same is true for Kobe.

McLegend 05-14-2010 07:10 PM

Rumor has it that Delonte West was banging Lebron's Mom, and Lebron found out sometime after game 4.

Greatest rumor ever? I think so.

Pippen was All NBA first team and was 3rd in MVP voting after Jordan left.

Pfft, I could do that if Phil Jackson was my coach too.

Nark Order 05-14-2010 08:41 PM

Somehow I doubt that fact.

Who exactly is saying that Kobe has or can win a title by himself?

NO ONE CAN WIN A TITLE ALONE.

This is a bold statement coming from someone who hasn't watched any games all season

Yeah exactly, so why are killing Lebron when even your boy Kobe couldn't do it alone?

Juan 05-14-2010 10:02 PM

Who's killing Lebron?

McLegend 05-14-2010 10:46 PM

Seems like Alvarado and you have been kind of banging on him a little right now.

Juan 05-14-2010 10:55 PM

I believe you may have misinterpreted what I was saying. Only time I chimed in was when Narc said Lebron could win no titles and still be the greatest basketball player to ever live. Sorry, but I just had to disagree with that.

Juan 05-14-2010 10:59 PM

And no, I don't think Kobe is the greatest basketball player to ever live

OssMan 05-15-2010 01:01 PM

Yeah, wouldn't be able to win any playoff series with guys from France and Slovenia on the team.

Jeritron 05-15-2010 10:25 PM

I feel good about the Celtics. The way they're working Rondo in has been incredible. They're in a system now where they don't stand a very good chance of losing if two of their big 4 are on.
The Magic are on fire so that will be tough

Jeritron 05-15-2010 10:26 PM

Roxer, what if it's a Suns-Celts finals?

RoXer 05-15-2010 10:43 PM

That's what I'm hoping for.

owenbrown 05-15-2010 11:27 PM

you know what? I am sick and tired of reading sports headlines online and getting to the comments part and every time there's a story about an Arizona sports team it turns into a political argument. Leave politics out of my sports watching, dammit!

SammyG 05-16-2010 03:24 AM
