WrassleMania dilemma
They decided to go back 'home' for Wrestlemania. However many people say that they could have made a fortune putting it in a bigger venue. (From what I hear, MSG doesn't even hold 20,000). So basically what do you think is better?
A. Returning home, but bringing in less cash. (They do charge a shi</>itload for ringside, but that still isn't going to make up for the $$$ they could have gotten. or B. Go to a large venue and make the $$$ but skip out on tradition. |
They lsot a shitload over the year... well I think they would have anyway... so I would personally rent the biggest arena possible, so i can get some of those funds back. :$
|
They've done super huge arenas the past few years anyway. One small arena won't hurt them that much if they do a great job building up and promoting the show, so that buy rates go through the roof.
And they could have made tickets more expensive so that the total profit isn't so drastically less than that from a huge stadium. I dunno... could anyone verify that? |
Can not verify it. But ticketmaster.com says ringside are $754.00. I heard they are usually $400?
|
wtf, 754, **** that  :n:

While MSG can only hold a small crowd, it's called price jacking.
I heard that even the worst of seats are at least $100 for WMXX. |
I think its cool they've gone with tradition for XX. Sure the crowd wont be huge, but, being in MSG, and the fact it's Wrestlemania, the atmosphere will be pretty intense.

the fact of the matter is, regardless of the loads of cash they could have made...sometimes you have to stick with tradition.
Sometimes tradition means more than money and this is what WMXX is all about. It started at WM I, continues to WM X and now ten years later it is WMXX. Tradition. |
