There's gotta be something else going on with it. They were ready to put him on the main show, but he requested to go to FCW. I doubt they just did a total 360, decided to job him out for 7 weeks or whatever, and then kick him to the curb.

I wouldn't start to worry just yet. There are so many ways to bring him back to WWE programming, if not NXT itself. Maybe they'll do a kayfabe injury angle and one of the rookies will have to leave and they'll bring somebody back....or something.
