Whens the last time a wwe wrestler hit another's head on the turnbuckle?
Haven't seen that in forever. Especially a 10 timer.
I haven't seen a wrestler in a corner, his opponent climb to the second rope, crotch in face, dropping 10 punches while the crowd counts, in a long time either.
CONCUSSIONSSSSSS!!11!!
Ironically, Christian is using a headbutt now from the top rope. |
I can't think of when the last time was. Not too mention the ring steps or announce table.
Whats taught in schools is that's not believable as a "real" pain inducing move. Which was tricked down from Vince telling his workers to be more realistic due to the surge of mma. Hence the turtle up when mounted and punched and so on.
I don't care if it's a "Real" pain inducing move. It IS a "Real" Crowd involvement move.
So we have to have "real" pain inducing moves, but GOD FORBID we have "real" painful looking blood or "real" painful selling by an outnumbered Cena.

Shouldn't the thread title be, 'whens the last time a wwe wrestler put on a decent match?' the answer being nearly a fucking decade ago.

I remember one Monday Nitro in 1996, where Brad Armstrong slammed DDP's head on the top turnbuckle 3 times, then the middle 3 times, then the bottom 3 times, and finally slammed on the mat for 10.
I'm 90% sure either Orton or Christian slammed the other's head into the buckle at MITB. I remember it because I thought, "Haven't seen that in a while". It wasn't a 10 count, but I think it still counts. So your answer would be, "Less than a month ago".

Turnbuckle attacks are the salvation of the PG era.
