Bond 24 AKA SPECTRE

I'll get a jump on this now if ya don't mind.

This Thursday, there's gonna be a live stream for the announcement of the new James Bond movie and the cast revealed.

So far, Ralph Fiennes, Ben Whishaw, Naomie Harris, and Rory Kinnear are all back on board for their respective roles in Skyfall.

Pretty psyched if you ask me.

Lock Jaw 12-02-2014 08:59 PM

Christoph Waltz was announced as well, playing Blofield.

Batista also possibly in this.

Big Vic 12-03-2014 08:36 AM

Naomie Harris is the sexy black girl that plays money penny right?

Nicky Fives 12-03-2014 08:39 AM

have not been huge fans of the Daniel Craig bonds, but Christoph Waltz has got me VERY intrigued.

ooooooooh yes.

Lock Jaw 12-03-2014 01:38 PM

I know people didn't care for the whole idea, but I wonder if they will make Blofield tie in somehow with QUANTUM instead of SPECTRE.

Just to tie back into the first two films of the Daniel Craig Bond series...

Big Vic 12-03-2014 01:46 PM

I always hated what SPECTRE stood for.

Emperor Smeat 12-03-2014 10:30 PM

The working title made me somewhat interested in seeing what a Bond and 24 mash-up would be like as an actual film.

JimmyMess 12-04-2014 07:27 AM

So it is official. SPECTRE is the name of the film.

ClockShot 12-04-2014 07:47 AM

Damn, they got Monica Bellucci on board?

She looks great for 50.

I never, ever, ever kid Mr. Vic.

Lock Jaw 12-04-2014 12:18 PM

Apparently Waltz is not Blofield.

According to the official James Bond Twitter account, Waltz will play Oberhauser, possibly a reference to Hannes Oberhauser, who taught a young Bond how to climb and ski, and was referred to as his second father before his mysterious disappearance. Seydoux will portray Madeleine Swann, Belluci will play Lucia Sciarra, Scott will play British secret service agent Denbigh, and Bautista will portray Mr. Hinx, earlier characterized as a henchman in the tradition of Jaws and Oddjob.

mysterious disappearance in which he becomes THE BLOWFELD!

Wonder what his gimmick will be, then? And, will it become as iconic as Oddjob's hat, or Jaws' metal teeth?

JimmyMess 12-07-2014 11:31 AM

metal hat.

Lock Jaw 12-07-2014 11:45 AM

His gimmick will be :y: ...... :n: *Batista Bomb through a table*

Yeeeeah

Saw the new trailer before Furious 7. I'm so excited for this. We've been watching all of the earlier movies lately and I hope to have finished all 23 by the time this comes out. Up to "On Her Majesty's Secret Service," so I'm optimistic.

Big Vic 04-07-2015 09:28 AM

Skip "Die Another Day"

No such thing as a bad Bond movie.

loopydate 04-07-2015 12:28 PM

I saw Die Another Day in theater whenever that was. Far from the best, but enjoyable enough. I'm sure I'll see worse as I go. So far, Thunderball has been the weak link of the Connery flicks, imo.

Lock Jaw 04-07-2015 06:32 PM

Only Bond film I didn't enjoy was Live and Let Die. The rest were at the very least "fun".

Even Quantum of Solace?

Lock Jaw 04-07-2015 06:39 PM

Quantum of Solace is alright... and I hope they make reference to it in SPECTRE to "tie it in".... just mention that Quantum is a branch of Spectre or something....

Big Vic 04-08-2015 03:24 PM

I think SPECTRE is Quantum, correct? They just changed the name.

Sixx 04-08-2015 06:03 PM

On Her Majesty's Secret Service always gets all the hate. But if you actually rewatch it, that movie is pretty great, except for George Lazenby who is (or at least was) a terrible actor. Other than his Bond, that movie is good. Might had been one of the best if they still had Connery.

Different groups although do share some similar goals.

Quantum only existed because of legal issues the Bond franchise had with the SPECTRE rights.

It was really hard watching that movie without Connery in the role. Lazenby did an ok enough job but seeing how he felt about Bond afterwards i was rather surprised he took the role to begin with.

Here it is.

Very cool..... can't wait....

Wonder what he means that he is the architect of all his pain.... wonder if they will tie it all back in to Casino Royale/Quantum..... Hope they do.....

El Vaquero de Infierno 07-22-2015 12:16 PM

Maybe he just killed off Bond's parents, rather than their deaths being an accident?

Damian Rey 07-23-2015 07:19 PM

Uh...yes please

Sam Smith is singing the theme song.

Eh. Don't know how I feel about this until I listen to it.

Lock Jaw 09-08-2015 12:02 PM

No idea who that is....

Big Vic 09-09-2015 11:45 AM

He is that guy who made the pussy ass song about how he isn't good at a one night stand and he wants the girl to stay with him even though she wants to leave because he wasn't good with the D.

slik 09-09-2015 11:55 AM

"why is he so emotional dkfjlsdjf stay w/ me"

Those lyrics @ Lock JAW is a dog's name

Lock Jaw 09-09-2015 01:36 PM

No idea at that song....
