At next years Royal Rumble, I really really wanna see some mid-card guys from the last decade as surprise entrants. Don't wanna see the usual Jimmy Snukas, Jim Duggans and Roddy Pipers... didn't care about any of their other surprise entrants.

Wanna see people like Carlito, Shelton Benjamin, JOHN MORRISON, Lance Storm, Rene Dupree, The Hurricane etc.

Or would love if they could bring in some random WCW guy who fans might still remember and hopefully will recognize through the WCW/Nitro DVD's. Dunno why, would love to see Norman Smiley. Couldn't really imagine anyone live at the event giving a shit though.

For some reason, just wanna see this spot where Rene Dupree comes out, maybe eliminates a minor guy and celebrates with the French Tickler, then have Norman Smiley come out and have them French Tickler/Big Wiggle or whatever to debate which is better. Then have both get eliminated at the same time by a powerhouse like Ryback so it'll be all "two eliminations at once omg!".

Rammsteinmad 10-31-2013 01:39 PM

Or y'know, they could arrange some deal with TNA similar to last years Ric Flair/Christian thing where KURT FUCKIN' ANGLE can come out, suplex the holy fuck out of everyone, maybe eliminate one or two reasonably big names before being eliminated himself.

Come on, who wouldn't jizz in their pants if Angle's music hit during the Rumble.

According to the Observer, TNA's new owner is very likely to be similar to Panda in the sense that they have no real connections with wrestling. Also very unlikely Viacom and/or Spike TV end up as the potential new owners.

It is not entirely clear who will end up in power and run the company if and when the deal being negotiated goes through, and what percentage of the company, or if the entire company, is what is being negotiated. One source with significant knowledge of what is going down said the new group is unlikely to get involved without owning a controlling interest. Also, regarding speculation in various media of names involved, all of the speculation is way off, that much I know. It doesn't appear Viacom has any interest in buying the company (even though TNA gets far better ratings than Bellator, it's not as valuable because it can't get the corporate sponsors or ad revenue) and the parties involved come from outside the pro wrestling industry. The people who have at least been negotiating the most seriously are not from Viacom. The people involved have been successful in a number of other businesses. Just my gut says they are buying it more as a television property with the idea that future rights fees as those number escalate for sports will make it valuable.

The fact sale negotiations are as far along as they are and Hulk Hogan wasn't signed seems to indicate the new ownership group didn't feel he was a priority in the deal, or else TNA would have been aggressive in locking him up.

See it's times like these I wish I'd hit a $300 million lottery....just to fucking buy it and have TPWW run the damn thing. I got my booking staff right here.

I justgot the opportunity to watch RAW. Los Matadores theme is funky as hell; 3MB's (could actually hear it since they didn't get the jobber entrance and the source I got it from didn't trim entrances for time) reminds me of Pearl Jam's "Life Wasted", which is not an insult.

Also, I meant to mention this before, but I really like how AJ and Tamina are like the female HBK and Diesel. AJ should start wearing chaps and Snuka should start Jacknifing bitches.

and the moment he signs anything to make an appearance it will be spoiled here beforehand

Don't remember ever seeing this, but this made me laugh, and just makes me admire Cena more and more.

Would love it if TNA and WWE reached an agreement to let Kurt work the Rumble and WrestleMania. Would love to see one last Kurt Angle WrestleMania match especially if it was against Daniel Bryan or Antonio Cesaro.

Haha Vince wore that right after he was found not guilty in the steroid trial. A big "fuck you" to the federal government.

Only for The Patriot to walk out.

Tom Guycott 10-31-2013 09:38 PM

Only for him to remove the mask and reveal he's actually Kurt Angle. DOUBLE SWERVE!

Just listened to both parts of Xpac on the Steve Austin podcast...I went into it thinking it would be maybe OK. Ended up LOVING it. Both great episodes. Serious and funny.

Crazy to think that the face of the WWE while Cena was gone... was faceless.

Bad News Gertner 11-01-2013 02:21 AM

You know what I miss in the WWE: interaction with the fans during the match. Heels used to tell the fans to shut up or stall like Larry Zbyskzo. Faces would try and get the crowd going more. You'd think that with the WWE wanting everything to be interactive that they'd let their wrestlers do that kid of shit more.

GD 11-01-2013 02:43 AM

Fucking love Nash. Most of his matches were shit, but who gives a damn when you're that damn effortless as a talker?

This is one of the finest segments in the history of this great sport:

Just realised that TNA was only good when Nash was somewhow involved. Even the angles he wasn't involved in were just better when he was there.

Oh my god. Watching this at work and lost it at the Old Glory Torture Rack.

LEX LUGER IS AFRAID OF SKELETONS.

#BROKEN Hasney 11-01-2013 06:13 AM

Oh my god, Nash talking over Goldberg and Sid.

I'm going to have to wait until I get home to watch the rest or I'm going to be sectioned for manic laughing.

Bad News Gertner 11-01-2013 06:15 AM

Lol it was Nash's last night as booker so Nash put himself on commentary and just shit all over everything.

#BROKEN Hasney 11-01-2013 06:28 AM

I AM SKELETON MAN.

They should have just made La Parka say that in promos and only that.

#BROKEN Hasney 11-01-2013 06:31 AM

Also, Nash is a dick purely for giving Lash LaRoux promo time.

Innovator 11-01-2013 09:22 AM

"Why is La Parka helping Buff Bagwell?"

"....Oh I remember why, he was the only guy to show up for the meeting earlier."

Are you talking about recent months? D. Bry would interact with the fans (anger management graduation comes to mind) and Punk will tell fans booing him to shut up.
