Anyone not surprised that Daley threw the punch after the fight? I had a feeling something was about to go down after the third round.

Shogun fucking crushed Machida, and it was amazing.

As far as Kos goes, I'm going to give him the benefit of the doubt. He was more or less controlling the fight at the time of the "knee." Honestly, I don't think he gained anything by acting hurt, so maybe it really did graze him. Then again, maybe he just didn't want to be that close to Daley. Who knows.

Shogun was sick, no doubt about it. I did enjoy the Stout/Stevens match the most.

What a fucking dick head. Dana had no choice but to cut him and make an example out of him.

Daley deserves to be cut for that. I like him as a fighter, but Dana is trying to improve the image of MMA, and he's making the right move.

Sucks about Kimbo, but let's be honest, he was never going to go anywhere.

MMA | UFC 113 Post Fight Press Conference Video

Pretty good show overall last night. Really liked Stevens/Stout. I thought that was the best fight of the night. fucking back and forth and a good mix of standup and ground.

I love Josh Koshceck. Nobody posted it yet, but the crowd was on his ass all night. And then after the fight, he grabs the mic and says something like "Yea, it's alright, the Penguins are going to kick your ass in the next game." ROFL.

The Daley thing. Yea, he should not of done that, but we don't know what Josh was saying to him while he had him down. I mean, could of been some terrible shit. I don't condone what he did, but he obviously was pissed off and in the heat of the moment, so I can see it. Actually before he did it, I swear I was thinking Daley might try something after the bell because you could tell he was fucking hot.

Kimbo was shit. He's all standup and was gassed pretty quick. Matt killed him.

Again, this sums up the primary thing between SF and UFC: Control.

SF is still trying to figure out where its ass is after the Nashville Brawl. Guy steps out of line in the cage at UFC, problem solved almost immediately.

And I am far from a Dana White fan, but again, UFC isn't run like a madhouse.

I don't know about Machida winning, the fight was like 3 minutes old when he got banged out, I knew it was gonna happen, the way Rua would charge forward with jabs and crosses, and Machida was just back up and try to dodge it, I knew once he got caught he was going down, and he got clipped, and down he went.

I mean Machida got a couple takedowns, which Rua got up from almost imediatley.

I think it was more a matter of "This guy wants to be a dumb shit? Fine, I'm gonna make an example of him."

The odds of someone even attempting a Nashville Brawl-like brawl was out the window with the limited amount of people allowed in the Octagon to begin with. Kicking Daly's ass to the curb sends a message that cheap shot-ing people after the fight isn't gonna be tolerated either.

Dana did what he had to do. Imagine the outcry if he connected on the punch and wasn't fired.

Probably because people were hoping that he'd do good because it would be a fascinating story.

Kinda hope they wait until Lesnar V Carwin, then once Carwin beats Lesnar, they have Lesnar face Kimbo (then cut Kimbo).

Koscheck is awesome. I hope he some how finds a way to beat GSP. Preferably by some heelish manner.

I doubt it, he can't out strike or out wrestle GSP, and even if he did get GSP down, GSP would get right back up, he didn't do shit to Daley on the ground.

I'm quite suprised that none of you have come out and said what a piece of shit Koshchek is for his actions during that figh. The replays showed that the knee didn't hit him in the face and he faked it.
I hope GSP sends him out of the UFC on a stretcher.

Don't condone what Daley did after the bell though, I understand why Dana cut him but I agree with CSL, maybe fine him or something. Suspend hom for a while.

I believe the knee grazed him a little. Koscheck was on his way to taking down Daley again so why pretend to be hurt to lose your dominant position. In reality it doesn't matter if he is faking, as Daley shouldn't have thrown the knee in the first place.

He landed quite a few punches on Daley. Did you actually watch the fight?

True, but he made more of an effort to finish Hardy than Koschkeck did to Daley I'd say.

I think Dana could have made more money out of Kimbo. At least with one more fight.
