James Steele 03-24-2014 04:47 AM

Flair just pulled a Foley and returned to the match.

Yes, because there was nothing to do after the nWo feud got stale and boring. They didn't have an ending so that the former nWo guys could be in WCW without people thinking about the nWo. WCW should have won but the nWo faded away as a joke.

They probably lost more money than they made in the end.

Tazz Dan 03-24-2014 05:30 AM

I'm closing this thread until we get the network in Australia, because fuck you guys.

Bad News Gertner 03-24-2014 08:25 AM

Right now I'm watching Hockey highlights.

That was a very good panel. I enjoy Road Dogg. He has some good insight and he seems humble. The ones with Flair are terrible as mentioned.

Tazz is not very good on the show either. He constantly gets cut off.

Speaking of terrible things... Rob Bartlett being a Raw commentator is so much worse than I remember, and I remember it being pretty bad.

Savage is so much worse than I remember too, but its Macho so its all good.

Innovator 03-24-2014 09:32 AM

Best panel has been JR, DDP, Piper, Hayes. The most non-PC panel and it got the most out of their topic.

whiteyford 03-24-2014 02:55 PM

Flair is god awful on those.

SlickyTrickyDamon 03-24-2014 03:48 PM

Flair is unnecessarily mean in those.

Damian Rey 03-25-2014 09:50 PM

The problem is Taz is that, for the most part, he's pretty irrelevant in the grand scheme of things. Taz being in ECW and not really being apart of anything huge or significant leaves him having little to say or contribute. On the newer ones, Pat Patterson seems a bit out of touch. Just sort of rambles on. Bret being on there is interesting. Not into himself as much as I though he'd be. Had a feeling he'd be like Flair, and bury everyone not in the horsemen or Evolution.

whiteyford 03-26-2014 02:03 AM

I usually enjoy Taz on them but yeah, if he wasn't involved in whatever the discussion is about or knows someone involved he just lets the others talk over him.

SlickyTrickyDamon 03-26-2014 02:22 AM

Just watched the Countdown for the biggest blunders. Really put me out of the bad mood I was in from a headache.

Watching Bret/Owen WrestleMania Rewind now.

Bad News Gertner 03-26-2014 02:23 AM

Finally saw the Legends Roundtable: Hardcore.

Bad News Gertner 03-26-2014 02:25 AM

The Monday Night Wars one was uncomfortable to watch at times. Michael Hayes just goes after Bischoff. Bischoff has the greatest deflections:

"It may have happened, it was a long time ago".

Bad News Gertner 03-26-2014 02:35 AM

I LOVE the roundtables about the 80's stars. The Iron Shiek/Andre the Giant one is probably my favourite roundtable ever. The stories thatHayes and Patterson tell about Shiek was amazing.

Crazy Nick 03-26-2014 06:47 AM

Just got done watching Backlash 1999, unreal to imagine that it was Owen Hart's last PPV match, decent PPV though, I enjoyed it.

SlickyTrickyDamon 03-26-2014 03:45 PM

4/4 new legends Roundtable from WrestleMania Axxess.

Seth82 03-27-2014 12:57 AM

currently watching a WWE Legends roundtable on the 70's.

so cool to see the great Nick Bockwinkel on the panel with Michael Hayes, Pat Patterson, JJ Dillon & Gene Okerlund.

Bad News Gertner 03-27-2014 01:30 AM

Poor Nick. Heard he has dementia.

Bad News Gertner 03-27-2014 01:30 AM

Watching the Raw right before WM18. Hogan just crashed a semi into an ambulance that the Rock was in.

Bad News Gertner 03-27-2014 01:32 AM

The WWE was just fucking amazing then. Wrestlemania 17 and 18 was just unreal.

Yeah i heard he had Alzheimer's.

Bad News Gertner 03-27-2014 01:43 AM

Wow, the build up to HHH vs Chris Jericho at Wrestlemania 18 was awful.

#1-norm-fan 03-27-2014 02:02 AM

lol. I seriously forget that match even happened sometimes.

That and HHH-Orton might be the most forgettable WrestleMania main events ever. For slightly different reasons.

Bad News Gertner 03-27-2014 02:35 AM

HHH vs Booker T says hello as well.

#1-norm-fan 03-27-2014 03:00 AM

At least they were smart enough to keep that one from actually closing out the show. If we're counting just title matches/matches that were billed as a main event despite not closing out the show, Triple H vs Booker probably is #1.

My God. Outside of The Undertaker, who is a sure thing to put on a great WrestleMania match with anyone nowadays, Triple H's WrestleMania track record is fucking abysmal.

Mercenary 03-27-2014 03:04 AM

Miz/Cena say yo

#1-norm-fan 03-27-2014 03:08 AM

I think Miz vs Cena was slightly more memorable than HHH vs Booker, HHH vs Orton and HHH vs Jericho simply because The Rock was involved.

Hogan vs Sid is probably a contender too but that has the handicap of having happened 22 years ago.

False.

Stephanie's tit falls out before Triple H almost pedigrees her on an episode of Smackdown.

I always go back to this when people talk about how Daniel Bryan is treated and if he wins at Mania it won't undo the 7 months of pure torture the fans went through. Everyone remembers the match of Rock vs. Hogan, no one talks about Hogan hitting Rock with a hammer then trying to commit vehicular homicide.

i must not be searching hard enough, but how do you watch random old raw episodes on the network?

Dave Youell 03-27-2014 03:44 PM

Y2J/Jericho WM19 on repeat, for no reason...

NormanSmiley 03-27-2014 04:33 PM

mean fuckin Gene on countdown

if this isn't worth its own thread merge it into the network one, but I cant stop cracking up at the countdown episode of biggest blunders, between 8-7 they show the mean gene summerslam interview with rude and heenan where the sign falls and we get the famous "fuck it"

mean genes play by play is a riot when then show him now reliving it

I'm streaming the network through a website. I get the WWE Network but only one channell

Boondock Saint 03-27-2014 08:25 PM

Haven't had much time to make a dent in my chronological order viewing, but have made it through Starrcade '83, 84 and Wrestlemania 1. Next up is The Wrestling Classic followed by Starrcade '85.

Really digging the 80's stuff, surprisingly. I have the Manias on DVD up through 14, but it's been a while since I've seen them.

Really looking forward to the Summerslams, Rumbles, Survivor Series I haven't seen and a lot of the In Your House stuff, and most everything with the NWA/WCW stuff on the horizon. Good and bad.

I know these Legends of Wrestling on the Network are a few years old but they're new to me and they're great. Hope they make new ones soon.

Shisen Kopf 03-27-2014 08:38 PM

I've been watching the Rasslemanias alternating consecutive odd nums (the correct way to watch Rasslin')--right now I'm on Rasslemania 11

Damian Rey 03-27-2014 10:51 PM

Watching Roundtable with Nash with the topic being outdoor events, and fuck me Nash is breathing directly into the mic.

Corndad 03-28-2014 09:19 PM

The Blunders Countdown show is phenomenal. Cesaro has me cracking up reading lines from Scott Steiner promos HAHAHAHA

Dude, same here. So fucking great.

theexample 03-29-2014 10:18 AM

Best Countdown so far. The best part of the Network is being able to show my young boys the wrestling I grew up watching. Tonight I'll be showing them Royal Rumble 92. Does anybody know if it's the edited 'Cheers for Hogan' version or will I hear the boos he got for being a hypocritical knob?

Emperor Smeat 03-29-2014 02:13 PM

WWE Countdown.

 the Blunders episode.
