Great match.... Hope Cesaro stays in the mix as a singles competitor now and doesn't fade away again....

Tom Guycott 07-06-2015 11:17 PM

Wish i could watch it, but my feed switches from the network for the prezshow to Sky, and doesn't go back.

Vince: "Sorry, what? I wasn't paying attention, I was preparing for TOUGH ENOUGH tomorrow"

Well, bear in mind that the first time I watched full-length RAW and SD! was probably not until the week after Survivor Series 2001 in November of that year, so I suppose, being 20 at that time until the day of WrestleMania x8 on March 17, 2002, I could be considered a"kid". So maybe it's just that it was my inexperience as a fan at that point or maybe it's the Rock mark/fanboy in me, or both, but either way I never actually minded seeing him use it, thought it was rather cool. And yes, I'm aware of guys who used it before him, such as Bret and Shawn, but I'm fine with being a vocal minority in speaking up for Rock's possibly only signature submission move in his arsenal.

Worst was when WWE totally nerfed the "walls of Jericho".

So you're what, 25, 26 now? I'm 34, starting to rock an old man wizard's beard...seriously...I'm probably ancient by board standards of average age here. I'm no Matchbox or YOUR Hero, but I'm sure I'll get there sooner than I want to.

KIRA 07-07-2015 12:00 AM

I envy you I can't grow any facial hair it sucks.

So two Lesnar RAW segments in a row end in people legit getting hurt (Noble and fan)? Brock's in the doghouse!!

He's responsible for two deaths out of 3, the other being Sin Cara right after that segment.

But seriously, I didn't know Noble or Mercury had an actual confirmed injury. Thought Noble just had the typical reaction to the Kimura Lock, and Mercury seemed find despite hurtling into the windshield.

– WZ reports that after Raw went off the air, John Cena had Cesaro come out and gave an “emotionally charged” promo praising him. Cena praised Cesaro’s in-ring ability and work ethic, causing the Chicago crowd to give them a standing ovation.

Holy fuck at that main event! Cesaro is a fucking monster and I really hope they don't screw this up this time. Cena's US open challenge is week-in and week-out putting on five-star matches, but this one was insane. I was really hoping Cesaro would kick out of the top-rope AA, because the crowd reaction would have been incredible! I was also hoping for a handshake after a match, because again, it would help solidify Cesaro a bit more, but overall fuck me that was incredible!

Sepholio 07-07-2015 07:51 PM

Why hasn't Cena always wrestled like this? Or is everyone else just making him look super good lately? Cuz he has like 80% of my match of the year candidates right now probably.

I can't wait for Owens/Cesaro 1 on 1. It shall be glorious.

Droford 07-07-2015 08:12 PM

Funny thing about Cesaro is if they don't make it a triple threat he'll end up not wrestling at battleground

KIRA 07-07-2015 08:14 PM

Cesaro should've been pushed to the moon after WM 30 but all things in time this looks to be his.

Totally looked like a main eventer last night. Cesaro doesn't connect with people my ass.

Week in and week out I look forward to John Cena matches the dude has been in fucking fire even the biggest haters can't deny that.

#1-norm-fan 07-07-2015 08:15 PM

He's still gotta learn to cut a promo.

he's been this good for a long time imo. he's just getting more time to showcase it against top level in ring talent.
