Yea mention in a couple threads he would be on sportscenter but I wasn't expecting that.

Simple Fan 03-24-2015 06:56 PM

Hell of a interview, even got Coach in on the fun.

Corndad 03-24-2015 06:58 PM

That was awesome. I'm actually pumped about Mania after that. Now unpredictable Main Event to say the least.

CSL 03-24-2015 06:59 PM

been saying for a while I thought he would and that if he did, the best bet for them now is Brock over at Mania but giving Reigns a shit load and making him look like the man. I stand by zissss

I don't know I watched it on sportscenter. Might be able to find it on ESPNs website

Damian Rey 03-24-2015 07:05 PM

Fuck yes. Best booked featured player in years. Love it. The main event is officially the most intriguing match on the card. Before just for the crowd reaction, now got the finish.

CSL has it right, though. Putting Lesnar over but making Reigns look like the fucking man is the right call.

GD 03-24-2015 07:13 PM

Found it!

This sucks

Fignuts 03-24-2015 07:24 PM

quiet you

Juan 03-24-2015 07:25 PM

Lol @ Drake

OssMan 03-24-2015 07:27 PM

So then he basically has to retain right.. how can he work on a limited schedule without holding the title

ClockShot 03-24-2015 07:32 PM

Let Brock keep the belt, let Brock keep the belt. PLEASE!

Damian Rey 03-24-2015 07:34 PM

What a lovely birthday present Lesnar just gave me.

As far working a limited schedule without carrying the strap, a double turn with Lesnar being decimated and put on the shelf, only to return for revenge later is not an unrealistic scenario.

#1-norm-fan 03-24-2015 07:34 PM

He was working a limited schedule without the title before. I REALLY hope this means he's retaining but I'm hesitant to expect it. WWE seems pretty dead set on Reigns being their guy and if they're gonna do it, putting him over is the thing to do. Unless they plan on a Rock-Cena situation where they have him lose and then take a year to try to get the fans on his side before possibly putting him over Lesnar next year.

It being WrestleMania, they've gotta try to end it in either a "feel good" way or a huge moment. Unless Reigns vs Lesnar doesn't go on last, I'm not sure how they accomplish that with Lesnar going over.

GD 03-24-2015 07:50 PM

No wonder Hunter is trying to legitimize the United States and Intercontinental titles.

What sucks about it? Can't think of one reason why it sucks so I would like to know why you feel this way.

Something needed to be done with those titles anyways as they needed to be actually treated like they meant something or retired. AS for the World Heavyweight Championship, it just needs to be defended a few more times a year, passing it around like a hot potato did nothing for it anyways. Lesnar just needs a little more TV time like Hogan did in the 80's. You know, when people thought the belt meant something but was defended way less.

Kris P Lettus 03-24-2015 08:12 PM

Well fuck

Tazz Dan 03-24-2015 08:20 PM

I'm so fucking pumped about this. I know the majority here is against Brock, and his limited appearances, but it hasn't bothered me as much as I thought it would. While it sucks we don't see the belt all the time, and it's not defended at every PPV, you know when Brock shows up, it's fucking business time, and shit is going to go down. And I never thought I'd say this, but I hope they haven't changed his schedule too much if they keep the title on him. If they do strip him, I want to see him around more though, as back-to-front as that may seem.

Juan 03-24-2015 08:26 PM

Yeah, pretty excited about this news too.

I was predicting this amongst my friends. I too am pumped that Lesnar is staying. I think he should remain the WWE Champ, or turn baby as Heyman takes the title away by screwing him and going with Reigns. But, hopefully he retains and Bryan and Cena could elevate the secondary titles to main event in Brock's absence.

Savio 03-24-2015 09:19 PM

Brock will never split from Heyman unless he gets another manager.

#1-norm-fan 03-24-2015 09:27 PM

I was for the idea of Heyman turning on him and aligning with Reigns but as long as Lesnar is staying, Heyman should be with him.

Tazz Dan 03-24-2015 09:27 PM

He did okay without Heyman last time, but having Paul as his mouthpiece is good.

teamXtremist 03-24-2015 09:29 PM

Vince with the offer he couldn't refuse :eek:brock did look happy and I'm glad hes staying around .he loves wrestling and wrestling is better with him in it

I kind of enjoy having the WWE Title "gone". When it is there it seems like a "big deal", and it not being there forced them to actually be creative with their main events and book feuds and stuff outside the belt....

#1-norm-fan 03-24-2015 09:55 PM

It's like before the mid-90's during the Hogan era when he was a "special attraction" champion and not just constantly on all the shows. Makes the title more over, makes the champion more over, and makes the secondary title (ideally) a bigger deal. I love it.

Lock Jaw 03-24-2015 09:57 PM

That being said, they will eventually need to put the belt back onto full time guys.

Crimson 03-24-2015 10:02 PM

Cutting Raw back an hour is a start.

#1-norm-fan 03-24-2015 10:03 PM

They can still work it the same way though. Not to the same extent but... you can have a guy wrestle at live events and in dark matches while only showing up on TV to hype up PPV matches.

SlickyTrickyDamon 03-24-2015 10:04 PM

Whoooooooooooo....but.

No need for a title change. So, there is probably going to be a title change.

Damian Rey 03-24-2015 10:12 PM

He needs to work a tad bit more often, but not by much. Obviously you have him work the Rumble, Mania and Summer Slam. But working one or two more big events wouldn't hurt. I love that at the current moment in time, the top tier title is a big deal attraction. Means something to see it. Though once Lesnar eventually drops it, I'm not sure how that could work since your next champ is likely a full time guy.

Emperor Smeat 03-24-2015 10:19 PM

:y: Lesnar's staying.

Makes sense considering schedule and money-wise, he was going to get around the same money regardless of which he picked (WWE, UFC, Bellator). If he wasn't feeling the spark during training, was really smart to just call it a career in MMA especially at his age.

Lock Jaw 03-24-2015 10:33 PM

Plus in WWE he gets massive paychecks to stand around and stare while Paul Heyman talks.
