Community..

That was really good..

jerichoholicninja 09-17-2009 11:06 PM

Definitely surpassed my expectations. I hope it is given the chance to stick around.

Kris P Lettus 09-17-2009 11:11 PM

Well, if Parks and Recreations made it, I really think this will..

Droford 09-17-2009 11:43 PM

missed it somehow but its back on Saturday at 8:30

*sets dvr manually this time*

Kris P Lettus 09-17-2009 11:47 PM

Just go to Hulu.com or NBC.com.. Either will have the whole episode..

I didnt buy a huge 1080p HDTV and a dual tuner HD DVR so I could watch streaming tv on my 15 inch laptop.

Kris P Lettus 09-17-2009 11:51 PM

Just saying..

Sheeesh..

PapaGeorgio 09-18-2009 08:07 AM

Was def way better then I thought, really enjoyed it.

Triple A 09-19-2009 01:52 PM

It was alright. Def has potential. Will watch again. Peace

ron the dial 09-20-2009 07:12 PM

yeah i decided to check it out today and i liked it a lot. definitely staying tuned for it next week.

thedamndest 09-20-2009 07:46 PM

It has potential. The cast has good timing so far and I was surprised at the Talk Soup guy. Parks and Recreation should have been like this i.e. not mockumentary.

PapaGeorgio 09-20-2009 07:48 PM

Parks has its moments, but it reminds you way to much of the Office. The main lady is basically a female Michael. And the pacing of the show is just to much like The Office. Normally you can find similiar shows like that, but The Office's pacing is different then a normal sitcom, so to recreate that within an hour of The Office on the same network just hasn't worked completely for me yet.

Its is Just THE SOUP!, Jeez.

But yes, Joel McHale is the goods. So is John Oliver. THis could be good.

Kris P Lettus 09-21-2009 04:03 PM

The cold open to Park and Recreations this past week was awesome, BTW..

Blitz 09-25-2009 04:41 PM

2nd episode was hilarious. Loved the random spanish rap at the end.

Also  Ken Jeong

PapaGeorgio 09-25-2009 06:14 PM

The Spanish Skit was hilarious, I only wish I could have saw it all. Another good episode, def loving this show.

Juan 09-25-2009 06:36 PM

I have the first 2 eps DVR'd. Hopefully I can watch them sometimes this weekend.

Droford 09-27-2009 11:18 AM

I wouldnt get my hopes up too much, as the ratings were off 1/4th from the debut and doesnt look to be getting better.

That being said, the 2nd episode was actually funnier than the 1st.

ron the dial 09-27-2009 11:56 AM

yeah i was telling Kris P that i really liked this show a lot but it doesn't feel like the type of show that'll even make to the end of an entire season :(

Blitz 10-02-2009 05:26 PM

Show makes me lol more than any other show on TV.

"How bout I pound you like a boythat didn't come out right".

Amazing.

thedamndest 10-02-2009 07:18 PM

"I'll have a BIRTHDAY CAKE!"

I assumed this was just going to be a throwaway show, but I've been impressed every week. The cast is already clicking together very well.

Juan 10-02-2009 08:27 PM

On a somewhat related note, I finally watched Parks and Recreation. I really liked it.

Louis CK is the man

ron the dial 10-03-2009 12:58 PM

i don't want to be yr dad
it's perfect you know all of yr lines

What Would Kevin Do? 10-05-2009 04:55 PM

Yeah, I saw the previews, and didn't think about it ever again. They showed the first two episodes after Raw then, so I caught it while working on a paper, and I was hooked. I'm pretty surprised how good it is.

Blitz 10-12-2009 01:42 PM

Ken Jeong's tantrum during the psychological testing was tremendous. Why are more people not watching.

Skippord 10-12-2009 05:12 PM

I like it a lot

thedamndest 10-22-2009 08:30 PM

lol the Greendale Human Being

Ol Dirty Dastard 10-22-2009 10:43 PM

Awesome show

Blitz 10-22-2009 10:44 PM

Love the callback to the Disco Spider at the end of the ep.

Juan 10-22-2009 10:50 PM

i still have like 5 eps of this show saved on my DVR. I usually watch Parks and Recreation and skip this.

thedamndest 10-22-2009 10:53 PM

Should be the other way around.

CSL 10-22-2009 10:55 PM

When I saw that 'little piece of paper' bit last week I was in tears

Champion of Europa 10-23-2009 08:11 PM

I love this show. I was glad to see an episode focused on Troy. Abed talking about sitting this episode out made me laugh out loud.

Skippord 10-24-2009 01:10 AM

the greendale human being is terrifying

Ol Dirty Dastard 10-24-2009 12:46 PM

I like that show. It's trippy how it's so like aware of itself. It makes all these commentaries throughout about how cliche it is and how formulaic it is, and it makes it refreshing somehow lol.

Blitz 10-29-2009 09:30 PM

Troy is one of the best characters on TV right now.

PapaGeorgio 10-29-2009 09:43 PM

Troy and Abed need a spin off or something. All the characters on this show are awesome. Really digging it so far.

Ol Dirty Dastard 10-30-2009 11:18 PM

Troy is fucking hilarious. Lol Abid as batman bahaha

RoXer 03-04-2010 09:28 PM

Was seriously "lol"ing at the pool game this week.

ron the dial 03-04-2010 09:31 PM

oh shit i forgot that this thread existed. easily my favorite new show this year. probably the show i look forward to the most each week.
