I also take the "wait and see" approach. Almost any argument I have to support this has already be weighed by others. People hate on the Ben Affleck decision because it's cool to hate on Ben Affleck.
I think he was decent as Daredevil in spite of it being a pretty shitty film in much the same way Halle Berry was on point in Monster's Ball (judgment not swayed by her repeated nudity)... she acted her ASS OFF in a very, very, VERY stupid movie, but she sucked ass in one of the biggest franchises ever in X-Men. In-universe, Brandon "who-the-hell-is-this-guy" Routh's Superman was pretty indistinguishable from the now iconic performance by Christopher Reeves, and that Kevin Spacy can even phone in a top-notch Lex Luthor... didn't stop Superman Returns itself from being sub-par. Yeah, Ben's turned in some pretty hammy bullshit, but he's also done some grade A acting in his career as well. Besides, sight unseen, he is ALREADY a better Bruce Wayne than Val Kilmer was. We'll see if he can hit anywhere near that that magical "Keaton balance" donning the cape and cowl. As long as he doesn't try and duplicate Bale's gravel gargling, I think he'll be okay. |

Dunno about the truth of that. Seems too perfect/typecast for them to do. Though maybe they are doing it in hopes that internet nerd people will forget about Affleck being cast and stop raging.

Think Cranston is a little too old for the role it should be someone who's around the same ago range as the heroes so with that said I still believe it should be this guy he so looks the part.

Fake. And like hell they would do anything in the vein of the Beyond/Batwoman symbol, it would almost certainly veer away from the Dark Knight suit and also use the Frank Miller bat symbol they seem to be attached to in their early marketing. And I could get a little technical, DC's concept art don't get produced on those sheets. They have a painted quality like their movies in the last few years. Marvel also goes straight to concept paintings.

I just thought of something whilst looking at pictures of Zod's battle armor..... it looks much like what I would picture Lex Luthor's armor would.
Is there potential that Luthor (assuming he will be in this picture) will don Zod's battle armor (modifying it, adding his own spin on it and what not) and be able to fight Superman in battle.... much like he has in the comics and cartoons and games. Not sure if this has been brought up in this discussion... but yeah. |
Good chance Diana will cameo or at least be heavily alluded to in this movie, which is sounding more and more like a 2-hour prologue to the Justice League movie - which is almost certainly going up against Avengers 3.

- Lex is in the movie. Xenophobia and being a general dick intact.
- Kevin Smith seen the new Batman costume. Never heard sound that excited in... ever. And he's very hard to please. - Clark and Bruce will have some kind of physical confrontation, ridiculous as it sounds. Suppose Kryptonite will make it's debut. - Diana's almost certainly in the film, not as WW though. Perhaps Bruce meets this exotic love interest without knowing how exotic she really is. - Dick Grayson is likely. If he's in the actor will so have a multi-pic deal for the time Ben kicks off the new Bat movies. |
The Flash is also supposed to be showing up. And rumour has it that Adam Driver is the frontrunner for Nightwing.
