I had a soft spot for him winning the Cruiserweight Title in 2004

Mr. Nerfect 02-11-2017 03:18 PM

That's a damn shame.

Seth82 02-11-2017 04:29 PM

Chavo Sr was up there with Eddy as being the best Guerrero.

an absolutely awesome wrestler in his day.

RIP.

Shisen Kopf 02-11-2017 05:12 PM

He will always be the best Steiner Brother as far as I'm concerned. RIP Chachi

So did I.

I actually quite enjoyed all his time on SmackDown. Who knows what the rest of his title reign would have been like if he didn't no-show all those house shows.

RIP.

Loved the Chavo Classic run. Even at his age was still able to go. Also had a pretty gorgeous moonsault for a guy in his mid 50s. What a bummer.

GD 02-11-2017 07:21 PM

Rest in peace, Chavo Guerrero.

I'm only familiar with his run on Smackdown. It was quite entertaining.

Lock Jaw 02-11-2017 11:51 PM

Yeah, I pretty much only saw his Smackdown run, but I was thoroughly entertained by him. I am also aware of his larger legacy.

RIP

Yeah, WrestleMania XX was a great night for the Guerrero family. Chavo, Jr. started as the CW champ, dropped the belt to Sr., and of course Eddie successfully defended his WWE Championship against 2017 HoF'er Kurt Angle.

Chavo Jr retained his title.

Yeah, you're right. I just misremembered Sr.'s interference to "screw over" Rey as him winning somehow. Pay no attention to that man behind the curtain.

DAMN iNATOR 02-13-2017 07:45 AM

Obviously mistook that for when Sr. fought Spike and Chavo Jr. on SmackDown! over 2 months later. Here is that match:
