Thinking about throwing that in my sig now.

Cool King 07-13-2013 06:42 PM

Checking out my sig and I've noticed that my Chris Jericho quote image doesn't seem to be working anymore. :(

SlickyTrickyDamon 07-13-2013 06:45 PM

Great spear and sell. One of the best feuds going on right now in WWE.

#1-norm-fan 07-13-2013 07:02 PM

I've always wanted to see WWE do a good "'washed up old man' does the unthinkable" angle. With two World Titles, it's definitely doable. And William Regal would be the perfect guy for it. He's insanely likeable, great in the ring, great on the mic and his style makes it seem like he could actually make someone look silly in a fight.

I'm equally ready to take in both MITB Ladder matches tomorrow, both have their own feel to it.

#1-norm-fan 07-13-2013 09:34 PM

I will be rooting heavily for Fandango in the WHC one.

Not sure who I'm rooting for in the other.

#1-norm-fan 07-13-2013 09:42 PM

I guess RVD. Both longshots. Ah well. Should be a fun PPV.

SlickyTrickyDamon 07-13-2013 09:52 PM

Anybody other than Swagger winning I'd be fine with. He's already had his shots and didn't draw as a champion the first time. Zeb's seems ready to move on with Cesaro if Swagger is cut loose anyways. Probably rooting the most for Ambrose and Cesaro, but any of the others would be worthy too.

DBry should win the WWE Title MITB and I think Punk will get screwed so he won't have a shot. RVD would be interesting to see a One Night Stand Rematch for the title. Orton/Cena has been done to death and then some so fuck that shit along with Sheamus/Cena as well. Don't think Christian has a shot, but it would be fun if he won. I think it's great for him that the WWE sees him as equals to the other champion in the match even though its a long shot he'll win. Don't know about whoever will replace Kane but Regal would be a nice surprise even though it's probably going to be Bray Wyatt. Would be quite a shakeup if he won and changed all the plans of SummerSlam.

Very interesting PPV coming tomorrow.

#1-norm-fan 07-13-2013 09:57 PM

I think Sheamus/Cena and Orton/Cena could be fresh with Orton and Sheamus both being faces now. It would add an interesting dynamic. I don't see either having a chance though.

Skippord 07-13-2013 09:59 PM

rooting for Bray Wyatt to win both Money in the Banks and then both World Titles

and then eat them since he is the Eater of Worlds

Mr. Nerfect 07-14-2013 12:37 AM

Would love to see William Regal randomly added to the Money in the Bank All-Star Match. Regal could pull Brad Maddox aside and pretend to give him helpful advice as a former General Manager of RAW, and maybe even hilariously intimidate him. Regal wouldn't be in it to win, but man would I mark out like a little bitch. Cena would have no trouble putting Regal over -- he once called Regal the most underrated performer in all of WWE.

Still thinking that RVD is the best choice to win the All-Star match. Not for any long run at the top, but just a way to make his return fucking mean something. He can cash in on Cena and get a short run and win a bunch of face vs. face matches before eventually dropping the title back to Cena.

CM Punk winning would make sense, too, if they decide to do something like Punk vs. Lesnar for the WWE Title or have Cena involved as a Triple Threat. Brock could then pin Cena and Punk would chase Brock for a bit.

Daniel Bryan winning would make sense if they wanted to do Cena vs. Bryan at SummerSlam as rumors suggest. I'm just not sure if they need to rush that potential money match. Bryan could be cost the match by an attacking Lesnar just like Punk. He could even be taken out by The Wyatt Family or something and build to Team Hell No and a partner facing The Wyatt Family at SummerSlam. I still want to see Del Rio vs. Bryan for the World Title.

As for the blue briefcase -- you can pretty much make a case for anyone but Swagger. It really just depends on who they want to randomly push. I don't think Sandow needs the briefcase, because his gimmick draws enough heat with a mere microphone. I think we could see Shield tension develop at this PPV, and while Ambrose is great and future greatness still, something about him winning just doesn't seem right. I could see him doing something really crazy off the ladder. Something about Fandango's gimmick just doesn't seem to demand the briefcase. He's another guy that I could see doing something really insane to pop the crowd and take himself out. Rhodes and Barrett are both in the same boat where they have all the tools, but the company may not want to push them right now. The briefcase would focus them, but I think Barrett could just start beating people up and Rhodes actually seems like he may one day soon be turning face to go against Sandow.

That leaves me with my personal choice, Antonio Cesaro. Aligned with Zeb Colter, the "boring" factor has been removed from Cesaro, who remains one of the WWE's best in-ring workers. Some of the stuff he does is just...wow. He commands credibility inside the ring and is a mix of an old-school aesthetic with a new-school high-impact approach and innovative nature. All he really needs is to be pushed. It should be noted that I think his personality shines under Colter. He's actually embraced it really well and gets to show flavor that he didn't as a serious Swiss man.

If Cesaro pulls down the blue briefcase at Money in the Bank, I will rejoice.

There's no fucking way Mark's going to fit in there without defying physics.

Tommy Gunn 07-14-2013 05:41 AM

Cesaro is easily my number one wrestler, has been all year really. His matches are just so watchable and more often than not have a really cool 'feat of strength' spot in them.

I really wanted Sandow to be doing more by now, but they keep breaking-up / re-teaming Rhodes Scholars together. Both Sandow and Cody should be moving up to the upper midcard.

I think I'd spank it about a dozen times if Regal won mitb

Why do WWE keep referring to Booker T as the "five time champion" when he's held it six times? They're acting like his WWE reign never happened.
