How will Vince McMahon's death effect the WWE, and the wrestling business generally?

Will you still be watching the WWE after Vince McMahon passes away?

Who will take over: Triple H or Shane McMahon (if he suddenly decides to return, that is...)?

WWE will fall with the death of Vince. The wrestling business will suffer quite a bit but I think we'll see a return of the territories to fill the gap. And if the Network is still around, someone will use the framework to have a dedicated night for each territory.

I think Vince has grown steadily out of touch with fans and wrestling as a whole to him the WWE has to be a three ring circus I think with his death Triple H will steer the product to focus more on the wrestling and ultimately be better for it.

Morbid as it is, I think the company will be better off. Just based on how nxt is ran, Triple H is clearly the guy who should run the show. He won't ever be able to truly influence the company until Vince is 100% out of the picture.

I like the NXT parallels. What the wrestlers seem to be "allowed" to do on that show is definitely more liberal than on WWE programming. I don't think the company will fall. Business-wise, I think things are in good hands with HHH and Stephanie, honestly. They might not be able to bring in Hulkamania every so often, but I don't think they'll run the company to the ground or anything.

To answer the question there will probably be a small bump in ratings for lookey-loos to see how wrestling will be without Vince. Trips and Steph will have a short window to capitalize that by making a great show.
