TWNP News is reporting that WWE is dropping their pay-per-view event Vengeance from the schedule.
WWE will be going back to 12 pay-per-views this year. WWE has reportedly decided to nix the second October pay-per-view – Vengeance. This means there will be several weeks of build between the Hell in a Cell pay-per-view and the Survivor Series pay-per-view."

They are cutting down in 2012 to Royal Rumble, Chamber, WrestleMania,
Summerslam and Survivor Series for Pay-Per-views. All the other events this year should be on the WWE Network if all things go according to plan. After that only Survivor Series and Summerslam will be a pay show.

I guess since nobody is going to be paying for it that they don't need to try to gimmick the PPVs so much in October.
