Apparently SD cards can't be used to store Wii U downloads unlike with the Wii although it hasn't been completely confirmed by Nintendo and the source is a translation of a recent Q&A.

Details about the auto shutdown and energy saving features for the tablet were revealed to be completely customizable but on default the tablet will shut down automatically after 90 minutes of no use.
