Vince McMahon would have purchased TNA by this point, and Impact Wrestling would air on the WWE Network still, possibly running out of the same venue as NXT. If Vince announced this match happening, I'd run an entire card of WWE vs. TNA matches:

Daniel Bryan would have been the WWE World Heavyweight Champion at this time, having won the title in the 2015 Royal Rumble Match (if the winner isn't getting a shot at the title, you might as well make the Rumble for the actual title). Kurt Angle manages to prove he deserves to be in the Hall of Fame by winning the TNA Title but some point and defending it against all comers -- Samoa Joe, Austin Aries, etc. Bryan vs. Angle is just to find out who the best wrestler in the world is. Daniel Bryan strongly represents the WWE, despite claiming that he is only doing it for himself, and he unifies the WWE and TNA World Heavyweight Championships, appearing on both shows as its champion.

The Undertaker, who lost to Daniel Bryan at WrestleMania XXX the year previous, also competes at WrestleMania again, taking on Sting, who acts like he doesn't even want the match. Sting wins this match, handing The Undertaker his second WrestleMania loss and getting TNA a big victory.

Triple H and a re-signed Jeff Jarrett clash in a Battle of Authority. Stephanie McMahon and Karen Jarrett brawl at ringside at some point. This is an overbooked mess, and Triple H gets the pin after using a sledgehammer on Double-J.

CM Punk and Samoa Joe continue their history and have a pretty epic match together. Joe manages to lock in the Coquina Clutch and makes CM Punk submit at WrestleMania, something I'm sure Punk wouldn't mind doing for his buddy.

Beer Money have gotten back together by this point and are representing TNA as its Tag Team Champions. They claim to be the best tag team in professional wrestling, which draws the ire of the WWE Tag Team Champions, Cody Rhodes & Goldust (who have won the belts back after Goldust returns from a bit of a hiatus). Beer Money, despite being faces in this situation as well, turn on Rhodes & Goldust by using a beer bottle, and they manage to walk away with two sets of belts.

Paige has been going strong as the WWE Divas Champion, but she is challenged to Gail Kim to unify the belts. AJ Lee, who has been frustrated by her failure to win the Divas Title back from Paige, has led to her being a factor for concern in this match, despite her apparent loyalty to the WWE. Lee does make her presence felt during this match, but she actually does so as a face, preventing Kim from using heel tactics to dethrone Paige, allowing the Anti-Diva to win the Knockout Championship. AJ Lee justifies this by saying that Paige has earned her respect, and almost starting some psycho-sexual tension with Paige while she feuds with Gail Kim.

Kane and Joseph Park both snap back into their monster modes for a Monster's Ball at WrestleMania. Bray Wyatt is added to the match, claiming to be a greater monster than any of them. Kane Chokeslams both Abyss and Wyatt onto thumbtacks at separate points during the match, but it is Wyatt who manages to take advantage of the situation and pins Abyss. I guess Sheamus can be in here too, because he will probably need to be somewhere on the card.

The X-Division Championship is hung above a ladder and some of the best athletes from both companies compete for it. Rob Van Dam, Jeff Hardy, Austin Aries, Christopher Daniels, Frankie Kazarian, Chris Sabin, Kalisto and Sami Zayn seem like a good bunch. Doesn't really matter who wins, so let's go Austin Aries.

Roman Reigns competes against Randy Orton in a grudge match. Orton defects from WWE when he has enough of The Authority's shit. Orton has also been promised a TNA Title shot down the line for signing with the promotion. Reigns, who is still WWE through-and-through, challenges Orton to a match. Reigns gets the clean pin and continues his ascension into the main event.
