Sabres tend to draft ALOT of college players.

Nathan Gerbe
Thomas Vanek
Ryan Miller

OF their recent picks in the draft they have drafted about 1/3 of their picks from college.

From the current team. Seems to work pretty well.

Not as much talent as Juniors though.

I will agree the talent level in the Juniors exceeds the college ranks, but I dont agree either is suiperior to development than the other. Really just happens that the most talented players dont end up on college, much like the NBA used to be.

I dont agree at all that Younger is better. You really would take someone based on age and games played over talent and skill?
