I was also mulling having outs rather than k as a category. It seems odd that a guy who strikes out a lot of people is more valuable than a ground ball pitcher etc - strikeouts are fascist

Take out total bases? Hits?
If I were removing one, between total base hits and hits I'd remove total base hits as total base his lends itself toward power hitters. Not purely, but more so than hits.
