Serious question though, and hopefully someone can explain it to me, but what makes America think they can go around shutting down websites? The Internet is a worldwide thing, consisting of many sites that originate in countries from all around the world.
No one country can own "The Internet". I've just never understood why the American government or FBI or whoever it is, thinks it can go about doing that.

He was helping pirate material they owned the rights to, and he was doing it out of Michigan. This isn't like they went overseas and busted someone. He was doing this in the US.
