The way I see it, fuck Disney. Let some years pass and have another studio cut a deal with the Sentai guys and produce a new PR series that adheres closer to the nature and themes of the source material. Think MMPR Season 2/3 but like... all the time. You can still change teams and all that, but basically a heavier PR.

Betting Cartoon Network can nail it. And dare I say SyFy (do they have a kid's block)?
