Nah, Geno would be a perfect addition. Obscure enough for the current crop of kids, but a nice "oh shit, they put him in? " for the older gen. Plus he comes from Super Mario RPG, which means he'll definitely have recognizable attacks, but because he was in a turn-based RPG they'll have the freedom to tweak his moves without losing the general "feel" of the character from game to game.

Geno and Isaac is my guess. Capcom seems intent on trolling the fans hard with this Mega Man business. I bet if they do put him in it will be the Captain N version. Then again, Sakurai has been known to tell some tall tales (no clones?), so maybe none of them are in.
