I 100% agree, but it comes down to drawing power, and Jeff is a draw. That's all TNA cares about, that someone is (or they think someone is) a draw.
Would I put Jeff Hardy in a prominent position after main eventing WWE's second-biggest PPV? Absolutely. Would I hire Jeff in the first place, if I was in a place to hire people? No. It looks good on paper at first, but when it comes down to it, he's a flake, is in legal trouble and is a known drug user. He's a huge liability.
But if I was a booker who was told "give Jeff Hardy something", I'm not putting him in the midcard or the tag division.
