Second, why kill the whole division? At this point the priority should be to establish Charlotte as a dominant champion. Paige isn't even the biggest money match you can book. It's likely Charlotte v Banks down the line (maybe at Mania). Then if Bayley gets over, she can come in as the person who beat Banks in NXT and will do the same in WWE.

But you also need the other girls to fill the gaps between those major programs. If Paige just cuts through everyone, well then you're saying Paige and Charlotte are clearly #1 and #2 and the other girls are cannon fodder. When Charlotte v Paige is done, what do you have left to go to?

If WWE had a roster of 15-20 Divas, you could have Paige kill some jobber girls, but they dint really have that luxury.
You have Natalya, Naomi, Tamina, Alicia Fox and Brie Bella as the lower end divas. Obviously, Nikki, Charlotte,Sasha, Paige and maybe Becky, are the main eventers.

You're not running down the division if you're jobbing out that first list seeing as none of them have been booked to bee presented as championship material.

Alicia and Brie could be fed to Charlotte to continue her Bella feud through the end of the year, Paige could feud with Natalya and then Becky for contendership while Sasha feuds with her teammates to break away. That easily fills storylines for the remainder of the year while building towards a Paige Charlotte clash at the Rumble with everyone on the roster actively involved.

What they're doing now is hot shotting a feud. Nothing wrong with it but it's short sighted and kills what should be hyped as a huge match, two NXT women's and wwe divas champions squaring off. Instead it's just rushed into. Doesn't have to be that way.
