According to the Cincinnati Enquirer, Bengals fans were lined up outside of Paul Brown Stadium on Monday waiting to buy tickets for the regular-season finale against the Baltimore Ravens. The Bengals (9-6) are in a win-and-in situation for an AFC wild-card spot, but played Saturday against Arizona to a crowd of just over 40,000 fans.

Approximately 2,000 tickets were sold in the first couple of hours using a "buy one, get one free" offer for Bengals season ticketholders. And while the minor league baseball-type promotion has moved the needle on ticket sales for a team desperate for a home-field advantage Sunday, it has raised some eyebrows around the NFL. For each free ticket given out, the Bengals have to absorb 34 percent of its cost and reimburse the league for the visiting team's share of the gate.
