Had an awesome tonight with Khuntry offline and on a TV at a friend's house that didn't have input lag. The one I'm usually on plays like SF4/MvC3's online, but offline. It's something you don't notice until you play on a TV that doesn't have bullshit 3D bells and whistles that make it shit for fighters and Rock Band.

And the difference is night and day, and my series with Khuntry wasn't as one sided. Asuka and Lei in particular were marvelous tonight, hitting set-ups and pokes I always felt should work but never quite landed - until I played on a TV with 1:1 control. Since my roomy got the 3D TV, fighting game control was a chore and Rock Band was pretty much never the same. FPS games, with their inherent lag-hiding gameplay, fares well.

Now this isn't some long winded excuse on my performance online, which is 'fine' overall, but I wish to death I didn't have to deal with this TV. It's enough dealing with connection spikes online without the TV's input lag.

That said, you may see less of me online with this game in order to keep my muscle memory on point. Gonna try and get some online games on the other TV, especially matches with Fignuts.
