At this stage of the game, they really should reveal what the positive tests are for just to avoid the rampant speculation that comes out given the nature of coverage

Heyman not wanting to be among the Creative staff for the new Brand Split era may or may not have played a role in no new deal being done.

He praised Vince McMahon and claimed, among other things, that Vince takes care of guys and pays them enough to live long after they are retired and all he asks is they come to WrestleMania and sign autographs once a year. He was furious at the suit, but inadvertently, by saying he had so many concussions that he never had evaluated, he probably did more harm than good. Plus, his claiming that Vince takes care of all the ex-wrestlers out of the goodness of his heart is ridiculous. Guys get royalties for merchandise sold or being in DVDs, and the amount varies greatly, but the idea he pays everyone's bills for a year and all they have to do is come to Mania once a year, and now they are suing him is such malarkey and that he said it on ESPN is really speaking without thinking.

With the recent brand-extension, it’s still not entirely clear what will determine which roster Bella gets added to upon her return or if an additional title will eventually be added to the division.

None of these names have signed contracts yet because there is all the background work and medicals that still need to be done, but all are in that process. What will be tough for Dorada is that he’s coming in speaking almost no English but he’s the kind of a guy who can get over pretty well on the NXT tour, as could Alexander since he comes in with ROH credibility.

A lot of the undercard talent is looking at leaving and AAA is starting to use talent that will pretty much work almost free like Dave the Clown.
Besides talent, some people in management are also expected to be leaving due to money issues. AAA was expecting Lucha Underground to be making money by now and since it hasn't, its been affecting their own finances negatively.

Some other sheet news includes:
  • PWI thinks the reason the WWE drafted both Cena and Orton to the same show was them wanting the younger audience to start watching Smackdown more than RAW since RAW traditionally favors the older audience due to the late airing times.
  • Roman Reigns Wellness suspension officially ended today.
  • According to a recent episode of the Gerweck Report podcast, Shelton Benjamin and MVP are expected to be signing WWE deals soon for the new Brand Split era.
  • Kofi Kingston revealed on Twitter New Day will be getting Funko figurines as merchandise later this year and exclusive to Toys'R'Us. https://twitter.com/TrueKofi/status/756233339846156288
  • Paige and Del Rio are currently rumored to be breaking up as a couple likely due to the WWE Draft after Paige recently purged all photos of Del Rio from her Instagram account.
  • According to the Observer, Sin Cara and Simon Gotch's backstage fight ended up occurring at catering and was pretty much a one-sided fight in favor of Sin Cara. Also according to F4W, Sin Cara is now 4-0 in fights involving WWE wrestlers.
  • Jeff Hardy is currently teasing he'd like to return to the WWE once his TNA contract expires early next year.
  • Samoa Joe is currently rumored to have suffered an elbow injury recently.
